In a word?  No.  The responses you got were spot-on.  You're really being disrespectful by deleting things. 

This is not a board where people tend to blow sunshine up your butt.  It's pretty blunt.  That doesn't mean the advice isn't great - it just means you're unlikely to get validation for a bad idea.  Please read in the spirit it was written - to be honest and helpful.  You're imagining a harsh attitude that really just isn't there.

Again - whether you like it or not, please leave your posts.  If something needs to be deleted, trust me - it'll be taken care of by a mod.

I just got tired of answering her question after her "explanations" over and over and over and over again.  I mean, all she wanted to hear was that she was totally in the right for not inviting someone who had "beyond disrespected her" when the situation as it was written, sounds like she's the one who started it.  *sigh*
