It's getting the be that time of year again..time to fill out the FAFSA. THANK GOODNESS this will be the last time I have to do this (at least for awhile)....my question is, would it be better for me to wait until after the wedding so I can file as an independent, or to just do it now with my parent's tax info. It annoys me to no end that just because of my age, I'm considered a dependent for financial aid purposes, even though I'm paying for school without my parent's help...
