[QUOTE]I'm waiting for my cakes to cool so I can frost them. I'm making a 1st birthday cake for our friend's daughter. My cakes fell apart this morning and I had to start over after lunch. I'm just crossing my fingers nothing else goes wrong.

If it makes you feel any better, I made a marble cake but forgot to turn it out of the pan to cool sp half of it stuck when I finally tried to remove it.  Thankfully it's just for me and H so it doesn't have to look good!

H and I just got home from dinner.  I think I have one too many martinis.  Whoops!

  • aMrs - That was our original wedding cake that H and I had made for the wedding, but it obviously did not work out! Haha! We were saved though by the bakery that H works at and we got a different wedding cake just in time for the reception.
  • Oh My.  Although I have to say, if H worked at a bakery I would have just saved myself any grief and gone with them.
