What's up?  I think I finally hit a wall.  My head hurts, my throat hurts (post-nasal), my body hurts (partly from upping to week 2 of Ripped in 30 yesterday, but my joints ache too) and I'm hot and cold at the same time.  Oh, and I'm spotting.  I never spot before AF.  It's always temp drop in the AM and WHAM, before bed here she is.  Bad news bears all the way around.  I'll probably be in bed by 9:00 tonight.  9:30 at the latest.  

Otherwise life is good.  My dog is no longer shunning me and I have a busy weekend planned with brunch with a friend and her bay-bee, dinner with my aunt and her family at the country club (yummy) for their annual family party, and brunch Sunday with MIL and some of H's family for his grandma's birthday.  I have to get her a card.  I hope I feel better.

Yay I'm glad someone is around.  This is my first night in 2 weeks that I got to come straight home from work.  I still have to run to the store later but I really just want to hang out for awhile.

Sorry about the AF loopy.. I hate when my body goes off the "norm," it's frustrating.

Hey!  My day was good.  I worked the afternoon shift so I got to sleep in and then when I got to work I got a raise!  A big raise.  2.10/hour!

I am tired, overwhelmed with work, and ready for the weekend. Although I'll just be grading all weekend sooo there's that. I guess this is the downer night thread I have a friend's birthday dinner tomorrow night, meeting a friend for dinner on Friday and then just doing work in my PJs all weekend. So ready for the holidays. 

Can't contribute to the workout complaints since I've been a lazy slob in that one sense recently. I'll be right there with you all come January though. That's the date I've set for myself to stop sucking at exercising and eating well and go back to normal.

ETA: Oh and I miss getting to have dinner and hang out with FI in the evenings. His work schedule has really been bumming me out.

Mica - in your non-medical opinion, does ibuprofin have the same fever reducing properties as Tylenol (acetaminophin)?

Kalpi- We can drink wine and whine about grading together this weekend.  My goal is to be caught up before winter break so that I don't feel guilty all break about it.

Thanks Fezz.  I appreciate the stalking.  Too bad H went back to CO almost a full week before I show I O'd so I'm pretty sure it might be a fever talking, and not anything fertility related .  I'm so excited for your little Fezz-butt.  Are you going to find out if it's a boy or a girl or be surprised?  I love your nursery pins.

Hi. My typing might suck, i'm on a super tiny computer keyboard made for elf hands.

we are watching home alone 2 and waiting for AHS later. I can't wait for tomorrow, I get to go home and see my momma, then friday talk to her students about writing and my books. i'll miss H and Sir Whisky, but I do love talking about my books.

i always call my mom when i'm sick. she gives me lots of pity, whereas H is like, "well, go to sleep and stop eating doritos and maybe you'll feel better."

i think my mom and i have special magic powers. frequently when i call her, the first thing she says is that she had just picked up the phone to call me. tonight, i was talking to my stepdad about my truck on the phone and asked if mom was there. literally right after she calls out "hi, boo!" I asked if I was on speakerphone and he said no, mom was way over on the couch and he was in the kitchen. he asked her if she heard me ask and she said "no, I just felt like I needed to tell her hi."

So weird. we must be magic.
