Anyone have a recipe for turkey breast in the crock pot?

It doesn't necessarily need to have sides included, but bonus if it does. I'm having a hard time finding one that doesn't include onions or carrots. Help me?

  • I don't have one, but I've always had success in finding recipes at allrecipes.com.
  • You know what's yummy - a little water, with dry ranch and italian seasonings.  Shred the turkey and eat it on a bun.  NOM.

The ranch sounds good -- we were going to shred leftover meat and mix it with buffalo sauce to make sandwiches, but do something "plainer" the first night, so I think the ranch flavor would work with that. If i don't find something on allrecipes.com I'll do that. Thanks!

  • This woman cooks everything in her crock pot.  I've bought both of her cookbooks and loved nearly everything I've made:

  • I made "pulled" turkey breast with a two cans of dark beer, a packet of Italian dressing seasoning and a gravy packet.   I cooked it for like 8 hours and it began to shred very easily when I picked at it with a fork.  You could serve that on sandwiches or just cook it about an hour or so less and not pull it apart and serve it more like a traditional meat dish.
