The students last day is on Wednesday, so I know MrsB was planning to go in the next three days if Baby Bee hadn't arrived yet.  I'm sure she has someone's cell number from here, so if something happens, we'll know.

I'm here. We have a safety inspection today for our administrative area, so I'm just waiting on the inspectors to show up and do their thing. I'm also slowly working on a monthly suspense that requires little brain power.

Seriously, I would LOVE to help furnish your apartment. We got a new picture for our bedroom last night, and that led to us completing rearranging the room. I can't believe my H was up for that at 11pm, but he was.

Is he just not in the mood to immediately furnish it?

Kiki, I love cheesecake. Is it a plain one? I've made a cheesecake before (for my mom's b-day), but I wasn't impressed with my skills.

Amoro - he was laid off in September of last year.  He's getting unemployment which almost creating more problems because it's covering all of the bills that are "his" (car and insurance, cell phone, etc) and getting a part time job would actually pay LESS than unemployment so that wouldn't make sense.  It doesn't help that I loathe my job and his best friend is a teacher who is talking about how much fun they're going to have this summer since Tommy's got time to hang out all day.

He's just slooooow!  He's picky and so overly design oriented that he wants the expensive look, without the price tag, and it's really difficult to get him to decide on something.  It's driving me nuts.

Tr, I'm just going to say this, but if he's not super motivated to get a job, and he's satisfied with getting unemployment, that's a problem.  I don't think anyone should be okay with drawing unemployment, and the chatter about them having fun over the summer because your FI has the time-- that's not cool.  He needs to man up. 

Courtney, studying Ancient Rome is fun!  Except the political structure is very "HUH?"

Well, for the next three weeks I'm more or less living in my car/campgrounds/hotels/parents' houses, and then FI and I are going back to Wisconsin to figure out where we're going to be moving. Then I'll be spending six weeks in Italy, and after that we'll finally be under the same roof, at least for the next year. :)

FI is being incredibly silly and not packing his stuff, so I'm going to have to go be a drill seargeant.

Amoro, we've got some serious decorating to do in July when we move into our new place.  'Course, we're moving out now and camping with my ILs for the rest of June, which should be interesting. 

Anybody want to come get my house ready for the movers?  Because I have zero interest in doing so.

Amoro- I don't mind hot one bit! Actually I got a little homesick for South Carolina this morning. I love heat and humidity. Seriously. And AZ only has the  heat! They don't even have the humidity. 

kiki- have they not fixed your office a/c yet? That's ridiculous.

Amoro - I know.  And he has said he'd go out and get any part time job he can find, but I don't want him to do that because I know it would hurt us even more financially.  As far as full time jobs go, he only has experience in photography so it's limiting as to who will hire him.

Amoro, your current location certainly suits you better then. How you feel about heat is the way I feel about cold, so I wouldn't do so well there. Starting in November I begin my five-month chant of "I fuckiing HATE winter!"

I just got an email that did nothing to improve my mood. The beast who runs our Customer Service department wrote me that an announcement I sent via email was more appropriate for a phone call since it required immediate attention. No, it was actually more appropriate for an in-person notification which I tried to give you but you weren't at your desk. She's all "now my staff was late in being notified". No they weren't because I told them to their faces while I was over there.

Kiki, that cheesecake looks amazing! I might have to try that one this weekend. SInce I bought the spring form pan for my mom's b-day cake, I have no excuse not to give it a go.

Amoro, maybe if you narrowed down his choices for him? Or explained that ANY furniture at all is better than NO furniture and he needs to make up his dang mind? I know how he feels though. I'm sort of like that, but I force myself to make decisions.

He's tried, but so far nada due to (I'm assuming, but when you apply on-line you rarely hear back or have a way to follow up, frustrating) lack of experience.  So he's frustrated because he feels like a loser who can't support his "family" and I'm frustrated because it's just.not.fair.  And his friend's comments do NOT fly with me and I've said as much.
