Georgia, the choice is narrowed down.  It's Ikea, Ikea, or Bolagret.  Ya know?  We've got the second biggest Ikea in the world just down the road here! haha

ha. and this is the reason 60% of our house is empty. Only bonus: no visitors because we don't have a bed for you to sleep on.

My ILs are very sweet.  I'm sure by the end of the month I'll be super duper ready for my own space, but I can't imagine better parents/ILs to move in with for a few weeks.

Thanks Amoro, I really appreciate that.  We want to move south after the wedding so hopefully this is only going to last for 2 more months and then we'll be free to look for jobs elsewhere.

Morning, ladies. I blew off a 2-day workshop (unpaid) for lesson development in favor of painting woodwork around the house. Still haven't gotten around to painting, but have 3.5 L of limoncello in the making right now. Yum!

Yes it is.  Last night felt like christmas eve.  pretty cruel christmas morning.  I'm at work til 130.

That is totally cruel. What do you think the most fun part is going to be? What about the hardest part? For me the hardest part was decorating, but something tells me you're better at that than me. Most fun part was running around in all that space!

The hardest part is going to be swallowing the cost of window coverings.  Gah.  My friend spent like 6k on hers.  She went super high end though.  I think we're going to cheap out and get my mother in law to make some nice drapes. 

The most fun is definitely going to be decorating and putting stuff away in all the cupboards!!  I can't wait for all the storage space.  OMG.
