Mmm... I loved working 4 days!  Especially because I worked "late", so I'd come in at 10, and leave at 8.  Awwwwesome.

My commute isn't long but I leave 45 minutes early because we take J to the sitter and then I take Trevor to work and then go on to work.  But T and I only work about 5 minutes from each other so it only makes sense to carpool.  When I drive straight to work it's only about 15 minutes.

Before I quite my retail job, I was driving 2 hours total a day.  For retail.  *shakes head*  But, I had the job before I moved in with Allen, so....  Now, I have an offer of employment with a retail store in COPENHAGEN.  Dude, that's a good 1,5 hr commute on busses and trains.  No schmanks.

ETA:  Amys, where in Canadaland do you live?  We've got a fair number of fine Canadians on this board.

I've only ever been to Toronto, sadly.  I lived in Michigan, and I'd say I'm one of the few kids who didn't go to Canada every other weekend or so. lol

Good morning! It's the last Friday of the month... which means it's Jeans Day in the office! I am far too excited about that.

Plus, I met with the coordinators at the church last night and got EVERYTHING settled for the ceremony. Huge accomplishment! And I'm proud of the latest installment in the DIY sandal saga... so I'm in an outstanding mood today. Whee!

WEeeeeeelllll, I'll be around more than I have been! If it's nice, I'm sure we'll golf and/or find a patio to drink on for awhile.   And we are going to a BBQ Saturday night, but other than that, I should be around!

Happy Friday everyone!   I picked up my dress last night, went to the mall and found the bra I wanted for the wedding in my size and in nude so that was cool.  Then I bought two different lip colors for the wedding, I'll let the makeup artist decide which one works better, I'm so bad at that stuff.

I'm just glad it's Friday and I think we're going waterskiing tonight so I'm excited about that

Good morning!  I WISH Monday was a holiday!  We're driving up to MA tonight for wedding planning and to finally introduce our parents tomorrow, but we have to come back tomorrow night so that FI can be at work for 6 AM on Sunday.  Blech.  I wish for his sake that Monday was a holiday, so he'd get some rest.

Good morning, everyone! This first week back to work has been a whirlwind of shiit to get done, but thankfully the new principal hasn't made us sit through utterly useless meetings where she reads the faculty handbook to us. Thanks, I'm a literate adult who can do that on my own, and I'm glad you recognize that.

Weekend plans? I am taking my daughters school supply shopping this evening, since classes start Monday. Tomorrow morning my dad is coming over to help me put up the new furring strips on the basement wall. I get to use my new powder-actuated nail gun, so I'm excited and anxious about that. Nothing like using a 22 caliber load to fire home a nail.

Good morning. I'm incredibly sick, but as it's the last day of the month I had to come to work. I think I have a sinus infection and I'm not eating very well because of work stress. But I have completely cleared my schedule for tomorrow! I haven't had a Saturday with no plans in a long time. And even better- Mr. Panda will be out at a bachelor party all day. Woot!

I'm actually really lucky, because not only is Monday a holiday here (as I already mentioned), I took Tuesday off too because my best friend is getting married!  yippee!

I still have to figure out what I'm going to wear, he's getting married at the courthouse in mid-afternoon (to his boyfriend, my first gay wedding yay!)....  I'm not sure if I should wear a dress or something a bit more conservative.  Hmm...

Good morning everyone!  This change in my work schedule makes me feel so late to game every morning.  It's going to take some getting used to!  I haven't even had my first sip of coffee yet!

We're going camping this weekend!  Hooray!  I love camping because you sit in a chair around a campfire, eat, drink, sleep, hike, maybe canoe, sit in a chair around a campfire, eat, drink, sleep, etc etc.      My H loaded up our bikes too so maybe I'll take a little cruise around the campsite!

Jealous Dani! Camping sounds great -- we're going to go for Labor Day weekend and our itinerary will look remarkably like yours!

We are city people to the max, but I love nothing more than to get away from it all. The camp site we go to has sites right along the river, and it always reminds me of being a kid and my dad plopping his camp chair down in the water in a shallow spot and reading a book all day long.

my inlaws are stopping through tonight.  they're on their way to their condo in the mountains.  i am making them dinner tonight.  greek salad with chicken.  MIL is allergic to anything and everything under the sun, so veggies and chicken it is.

long weekend baby!  and i've got minimal plans.  woot!
