This weekend Andy and I are picking up our new kitchen table and I'm seeing some friends from college who are here for the weekend.

And ok, Amoro, I guess I should say "We get to stay in town this weekend and not travel anywhere!" That's more accurate.

And I apologize to anyone in the area who feels left out, but since it's at my apartment I am being very selective about who is coming over, haha.  I don't need that many of you knowing where I live =P

Morning. We're having a hotdog lunch/ putt-putt game in our building today (Christmas fundraiser), and my H is coming, so I'll likely be MIA most of the day. After tomorrow's baby shower that I've been slaving away on, I'll be sleeping the rest of the weekend. I meant to post pics of all my paper poms that I finally finished, but I forgot to upload them before I came to work. So I'll post them Monday, I suppose.

Ummm, yea.  It was worse then his schedule being changed.  The guy he trained who is a total toolbag got the position that he was going for.  This guy does nothing but play on facebook all day and think of ways to get out of work, but he is on the golf intramural team and got in with the big guys that way.  It was the one thing Trevor has said all along would get to him more then ANYTHING!

Oh no Stack!!  I'm so sorry for T.  That is just terrible, especially being that he trained the guy!  F*ing politics at work, I hate that crap.  That's the way it is around my office too.

Yep, it's pretty ridiculous.  T takes on so much and never complains.  I mean he did a presentation at his job for 200 people and they loved it so much they made him do it 3 more times for other groups of people.  But yet he can't even get an interview for a position he has been training for for over a year.  He was just saying last night that he feels like he works so hard for everything and someone always rides in at the end and takes credit.  He was talking in work, soccer, coaching......like everything.  He's just so down right now about it all. 

Luckily the new car, as silly as that sounds is keeping him busy today.  We worked really hard to pay for it up front so we didn't have a payment so he's out driving it today and just feeling like some of his hard work paid off for something.  It makes me sad that he's so down.

Yeah Stack, that is so frustrating, and it's so hard to watch someone you love go through that and feel that way.

Good morning! 

I'm so freaking happy it's Friday. Work this week has been really stressful (deadline today) and I even had work dreams last night so I feel like I've already been there today. Heh.

Tomorrow morning my friends and mom and I are going to the SF Flower Market to do a test-run of bouquets/boutonniere/corsages. Yay! I love flowers so this should be fun. Well, except for having to get up at the crack of dawn on a Saturday to make sure we get there the minute it opens to the public.

Stacks, I'm so sorry T is feeling so down. I understand how he's feeling and it totally sucks. Hugs.

Stacks, I'm sorry to hear about T .  I'll keep him in my T & P.  Maybe you could do something to show him that his hard work as a friend, father and husband isn't lost, you know?
