Okay, seriously

Re: Okay, seriously

  • I would want a video to at least show my grandparents in case they can't make it, but I certainly would not be watching it every day. I would probably forget I even had it after a few weeks.

  • This reminds me of a co-worker of mine. She is obsessed with her husband, almost to an unhealthy level. She admits that she watches her video at least once a week, and just blubbers over him incessantly. I love Rick, but I don't think this makes for a stable relationship.

Exactly, it seems really unhealthy to me, like idolizes him or feel unworthy of him...weird.

That's the vibe I get from my co-worker, and I just don't understand it. Ricky and I have our disagreements even though we love each other very much. I was joking one day about a funny arguement, and she told me that she would never disagree with her husband because he's so much smarter than her, and is always right. I almost threw up a little in my mouth.

[QUOTE]I'm looking forward to having ours to watch on anniversaries and such, but I'm really sentimental like that. But watching it so often as to have memorized it? This intrigues me...

This.  I love the idea of having it for anniversaries and for sending it to family who live in another country (our videographer can transfer it to the special DVD for that) but really?  Everyday? How do you find the time? I barely have time to watch the news and wait for the 10 day forecast, I couldn't imagine watching that all.the.damn.time.

Not to mention, what kind of "man" likes that?

    That's so gross.

If I had the budget for it, i would have a videographer, but I think the reception would be much more fun to rewatch -- the speeches and dancing and stuff. But everyday is messed up.

That is exactly the kind of wife my ex-husband wanted.
  • Their relationship is ridiculous, but yeah, she would post something like that KPS.

  • Cengle, that is actually a great idea. I was feeling bad that my grandfather who lives in TN (I'm in MI) may not be able to make it up for our wedding, sending him a video would be a great way to share it with him.

However, I think I may watch it on my first and 25th anniversaries, but every day for 2 years?  Get a life!
As my fiance is fond of saying, "Just Relax....."
