Wrigs, is this your first time watching it?
    Posted by EaglesBride2012
Yup. You talked about how pretty the animation was, so I read about it. Turns out ol' Walt himself wanted it to look like fine art paintings, so the animation team spent several years working on it so every frame would look like artwork. I'm excited.
I just realized I haven't seen CMGr for a few weeks. Did she GBCK? We had Mexican food for dinner, and I made a cake for FI. No special occasion; he has a sweet tooth and I felt like baking. I'm going to put on "Sleeping Beauty" and treat myself to a piece.
    Posted by wrigleyville
She didn't GBCK.  She posted on Honeymoons earlier that she was on a cruise.

I just got back from dinner with some old coworkers.  I had a good time, but it was a little chilly to be sitting outside without a sweater.

  • Zinc? Really? I usually start drinking Day and NyQuil and hope for the best. But I am willing to try just about anything to escape actually getting this cold, so zinc it is...

thanks for the tip. I wonder if the natural foods/vitamin store in the farmers market sells it.
  • Hey all. I miss knotting during the day! The job is so busy there is little time for even an occasional FB check on my phone. I got assigned my first case today where I will actually be the one arguing in front of the judge and being opposed by a defense attorney. Eek! I must be in the minority in that the FCR commercials have always made my ears and eyes bleed.

Hmm I don't think I remember that one. I have netflix, so I'll have to find that one.

I'm a big fan of the chicks from Staten Island. The one had, according to her a $150k wedding and the other was just crazy ghetto. They were hot messes from beginning to end and I loved it.

I do wonder how much of that is for the cameras and how much of that is real...

  • wait, I lie. The chick that was one an episode earlier today is my new favorite. She realized she invited too many people and started calling and telling them they were no longer going to be able to come. And then she reminded them to send her gift. Priceless, really.

Musu is getting to be big time now. :)

bruno - The $150k one was the girl with the long, dark hair that went off on the seamstress about "stealing" her dress, right? She was so crazy. I always remember the voice teacher that sang at her own wedding and fake cried.

ETA: Eagles! That was her name, Karen.

  • Holly, it is exciting! The type of case that I have often is done pro se, but this guy actually hired a criminal defense attorney so I'm mildly terrified, haha. Even the law clerks that have been there a year hadnt argued against a defense attorney for a hearing like this. I guess it will be a learning experience for sure!

    ETA: OMG, grammar.
  • Bruno - and vitamin C.  Zinc and Vitamin C are my first go-to's when I start feeling sniffly.

I made H watch it on our first date.  If he hadn't liked it, he would have been done before we even began.

  • Eags - are you still here? If so, you were right about the animation. Holy crap. It looks like 3-D, even though 3-D was a pipe dream when this movie was released. This is absolutely gorgeous.
