Good evening..

Re: Good evening..

  • Oh, and the music geek in me loves that they adapted the music from Tchaikovsky's ballet.

[QUOTE]MUSU!  We bought Clue the other night.  We haven't watched it yet, but we will.  And it's your fault.  You made me curious.

[QUOTE]Would you sleep the whole night through Erin? That is the question. If the answer is yes, I see no problem with it.

</div><div>Not a chance. I know that H will wake me up at 11:30 when he gets home, so if i got to bed now I'll probably be up for the 'day' at 11:30 PM.

  • Yes, it was Karen. That girl was all kinds of insane. She had that whining to her father down, though. I'll give her props for that.

I do usually try to take some vitamin C. I generally end up giving myself an OD of it because I like the orange flavor and suck on them like cough drops.

Thanks for the tip on the brand. I hit that aisle and get an instant headache trying to figure out what to grab. At least we only have 4 more full days at school. And all of my kids are gone. I can take the zinc and C and hide behind my desk.
  • Yay Holly! You must come back with your opinion after you watch it!

  • Musu, my screening method clearly works.

I'm headed to bed.  I've got to get in the habit of going to bed earlier!

    Goodnight ladies!
  • Hahaha speaking of Bridezilla Karen... she's the top Bridezilla meltdown. It was pretty epic.

Erin - I felt that way on Sunday. Went to lay down because I just wasn't feeling right and fell asleep until about midnight. Ran through my bedtime prep for the work week and was back to sleep within 20 minutes and slept until my alarm went off.

I think sometimes it's good to catch up like that.

    ME TOO.
  • I wish I had someone just to do my paperwork for me.  I just want to hang out with the kids and fix them and stuff.  I don't want to have to write abot it too.

I'm super stuffed from our dinner.  Now I want to go to bed.

My dog gets angry and barks if you change the channel or pause it when he's watching something. Ironically, it's one of the only times he barks. Dogs are way funnier than most people think.

  • J - what do you do? I never realized how much paperwork went into teaching, It always baffles me that the powers that be harp on us to be in front of the room and teaching, yet are constantly wanting reports and records. I can't do both!
  • I do intensive in home/school/community skills training and counseling with kids with emotional and behavioral disorders and their families.  And paperwork.  I do paperwork.

  • J - my friend just got a Masters in something similar. She works with people in a similar fashion. I go with her to craft stores and help her pick out things to do to help work on motor and other skills. I hear the paperwork is brutal.

Daffodil - It really is. We didn't even realize he was actually watching the tv until we paused it one night because the phone rang and FI's great-aunt like to talk to both of us on speaker. The dog started barking at the tv and we couldn't figure out why... until we unpaused it.

Crash - we were talking about this chick Karen from Bridezillas. She takes the cake on the craziness.
  • GOt it this time.  YGPM back.

That's awesome. I think Copper watches baseball games sometimes, but it's not long until he falls asleep.

Staten Island is, I'm pretty sure, the capital of big showy "wedding Halls"  The mothers seem to have a quota of certain tacky things that their must have/do at her wedding.

I did go  to a wedding in SI ages ago. Our desk secretary, a young Polish girl married her long time BF.  I think she was 20, he was an elevator repair man.

The had the most enjoyable Dollar Dance I have ever seen.  But then, it was the first I'd ever seen.  The bride's cousin's band played the entire reception.  The guys from the desk were throwing $20s & $100  to keep them playing.  haha, they probably paid for the entire wedding (champagne fountain included) with the money from dancing.

(Tommy James was her cousin and everyone, even those hating Dollar Dances were out on the floor0.

  • I do love the Mayhem commercials.

  • Yes, the commercials are funny.
  • No, Mayhem has let himself go.  But he was cute in Season 1 of SVU.  JMHO, of course.

    Texas, YGPM back.

And I'm heading off to bed.  Night all!

  • I agree with Bay - when he was on SVU for a hot minute he was hotttt now, meh, notsomuch. But his commercials are hilarious. I'm still partial to the teenage driver one.
  • Is it just me or is tonight the night on the boards for questions that are either pretty common sense and someone isn't thinking, or questions or problems that just make you sad? I feel like other than evening threads there is no happy medium tonight. I feel for the brides going through things.

I swear it's the weather. It's either hot or raining for most of the country. Weather like this brings out the crazy in otherwise level-headed, rational people.
