I have 6 bridesmaids. 4 of us are around the same height (5'0"-5'2"). I have 1 bridesmaid who is 5'7". I asked her if she would mind wearing kitten heels, and she replied that she thinks high heels would look better. If she wears high heels (3"), she'll be at least 7 inches taller than the rest of us who are also wearing heels. She'll also be the height of most of the groomsmen. The other bridesmaid who is 5'5" said she is also going to wear kitten heels, so my tallest bridesmaid wouldn't be the only one with a small heel if she agreed to wear them. I am really not trying to single her out, and I love her and I honestly do want her to feel beautiful at my wedding.
I am not requiring them all to wear the same shoe, I just would like to even out the height difference a little bit through heel height.
I think 6-8 inches is a noticeable height difference. Am I wrong? I guess I wouldn't mind if we were all different heights but since most of us are about the same, I don't want her to stick out too much. What should I do? Thoughts???
