I'd like to start a new post where we speak English...

Because I DONT SPEAK WoW, and I'd love to chat with y'all but I HAVE NO CLUE WHAT THE HELL YOURE SAYING.

So, what's everyone up to?

Is it as cold there as it is here?

Favorite go to comfort food?

Legitimate question: What was more of a pain in the ass: Planning your own wedding, or being a brideslave/MOH?

  • GRACIAS MI AMIGA!

It is not cold here but it IS cooling off and I love it.

Favorite go to comfort food: beer.

Legitimate answer: Neither were a pain in the ass.

  • I am at work.  Getting stuff done.

I am not sure.  It's 7 degrees "warmer" than freezing temp.  You tell me.

Mac and cheese.  Or my mom's perogies.  Or pierogis as P2 would say.

I would way rather plan my own wedding than be a bridesmaid.

  • So, what's everyone up to?  - not working, and i really should be.

Is it as cold there as it is here? - it's colder than a witches tit.

Favorite go to comfort food? poutine.

Legitimate question: What was more of a pain in the ass: Planning your own wedding, or being a brideslave/MOH?  planning my own wedding, because the one time i was a bridesmaid i really didn't have to do a whole hell of a lot.

  • I'm holding office hours.

It's actually pretty warm--we just stood around outside for awhile because some jerkwad keeps pulling the fire alarm.

I hate to say it, but lately it's pop tarts.

Planning my own. Being a BM has been a breeze so far.

I'm slaving away here at work. Not really. But I am at work.

Jesus lord, no, it's not cold. It's fucking hot. Still. Misery.

Go to comfort food: chicken and dressing. I made it on Saturday.

Legitimate question: I don't know. I've never been in anyone's wedding. I consider myself pretty lucky that I've made it 24 years without being a brideslave.

  • Oh hai!  This is my first post today.  ::gasp::

It's hot here, in the 80s I think, although I haven't been outside all day except to get in my car and come to work this morning.

Food: spaghetti if you're talking homemade

Legit query: oh I don't know, neither were that difficult really

  • Cold, what's that? I don't remember cold. It's 93 here right now.

  • So, what's everyone up to? I just got home from my workout and I can't move my arms. Going with my BFF to her final fitting in about an hour.

Is it as cold there as it is here? It's really freaking cold. But I refuse to turn on the heat, so it's like...60 degress in my house. It's gotta be colder than that outside.

Favorite go to comfort food? Wine. Or brownies. Or blizzards. or bread. Or spaghetti.

Legitimate question: What was more of a pain in the ass: Planning your own wedding, or being a brideslave/MOH? BEING A BRIDESLAVE.

  • Yes, I like English. But I'm about to leave for a couple hours. But I'll answer your questions before I go.

It's not cold here. It's effing hot! It's mid-80s and climbing through the week to the 90s. I hate it.

I love anything with chocolate. Especially gooey brownies.

Planning my wedding was a pain in the ass because my mom went psycho and my SIL was a hoar about the dresses. But other than that, things were fine.

  • Hello ladies!

Working from home again and nursing Mr. Penny back to health after having his widsom teeth out this morning.  I also made him ice cream, so he better love me forever!

It is lovely here today!  Upper 60s.

Oh, there are so many!  Mac n cheese, nachos, Jamaican food, ice cream.  Yum!

I guess planning my own, but if i had any bridezilla friends, I'd say that.

  • I'm lurking...and joining. And mostly occupying my chair at work.

    Its still 100 degrees here.
My comfort food is any kind of pizza. Even white bread with spaghetti sauce and cheese and ham.

    I've never been a bridesmaid...so I guess wedding planning?
  • Hai! It's really nice out here. Like mid-70's and sunny. Too bad I feel like horseshit today and can't enjoy it.

My favorite comfort food is carbs.

And I would assume that brideslavery would be the worst, but the only time I've been a bridesmaid it was a wonderful experience.

  • HI!  I can't speak WoW either - no worries.

It's in the mid 70's here.  Very comfortable for sure.  I think it's suposed to be back in the 80's this week.

My go to food is Chipotle, it always makes me feel good!

I've only been a bride once and a BM once and they were both relatively easy.  So um, I'm not sure.
  • I'm on my lunch break.

There's not a cloud in the sky.  It's in the mid 70s, beautiful.

Either rice soup or carnitas burritos.

My wedding is becoming a pain in the ass.  Being a MOH wasn't too bad other than the last couple weeks when the bride went zilla.  But this has been 9 months of fighting with my mother over stupid stuff.  I am so ready to be done.
  • Just got home from work.  Eating a PB&J.

It's about 90something degrees I'm sure.  So I'll say no, no it's not as cold here as it is there. Blah.

    Baked ziti.

Ehh, I don't think either was a pain in the ass.

  • It's not too cold yet, soon though. Which is OK cuz I LOVE the snow, and since I live in Buffalo we get tons of it.

Favorite comfort food is homemade chicken pot pie.

Planning so much more a PITA! I wish I could just buy a dress and show up!
  • I'm jumping in, even though you're going to read this and say "Who's this b*tch?"

Here, it is NOT cold.  I went to the Tians Vs. Steelers game yesterday and got sunburn.  Seriously. I'm trying to watch football, and the sun is BEATING down on me at 99 degrees.  I was missing the days of those hot hands things in my pockets and layered up in UnderArmor during football games.  That's how it's supposed to be.

Favorite comfot food: Chocolate gravy and biscuits.  It's a regional thing that I don't expect people to understand.  But it is AMAZING.  I'll send you a recipe if you can get past the idea and try it.

I am a MOH in a wedding where the bride has not yet set a date.  She's easy going, so I don't expect it to be a PITA.
I haven't had my own wedding yet, but it will probably be more of a PITA due to humongourous familes.

    I'm bored at work today.

It's in the 90s here.  No end in sight.

Bowtie pasta in alfredo sauce with peas has been my go-to lately.

Planning my own wedding has been a pain.  I've been lucky to be a bridesmaid to women who believed that all I had to do was buy a dress and show up.  I love them for it, even though I hated the dresses.
  • I don't wanna be at work today!

It has definitely cooled off here - and by cooled off, I mean that it's in the high 80's and not the 90's.  But at least the humidity's gone down a bit.  I am a summer girl, but this year has been brutal.

Haven't planned my own wedding yet, but I really don't mind being a brideslave.  I'm the type that likes to help.  And I doubt my wedding will be too much of a pain since the current plan being discussed is a DW.
  • Yaaaaay!! Thanks FIsh!!

I'm actually searching for DIY STD's ideas. Its a scary thought but i'm actually wondering if i should make them myself to save me and my mom some money. My FI and i saw ones we like that looked like little movie posters but i'm not even sure how to get started. Thoughts anyone?

It is freezing here in the building but hot as sin outside. My body is confused :(

Fav comfort food would have to be cereal. I love a bowl of cereal.

Legit question:: being a BM. I think wedding planning is fun...so far.
