Wow, it's been a wild week, and I finally got up early enough in the morning to initiate FFF!  So I suppoose there is some silver lining in the overtime I have to work today.'

I flame the random Janay chick on Music who posted the 'Vote for me Yay!" link, then insulted Addie's husband, then got herself banned.

My love goes out to Blondieo78 this week, for posting about a sane, respectable, decent, and beautiful vow renewal.  Seriously, anyone thinking of having a pretty princess vow renewal, go look at what she's doing, and do that instead.

I flame Mbenwitz for thinking bridesmaids should be able to drive and attend bachelorette parties…otherwise they should be demoted to being a junior bridesmaid.  And I believe she also used the term “best boy” as well.

I flame bkaygrady’s FMIL for wanting her son to be surprised with his dead father’s wedding band at the ceremony.  I’m glad she turned around and decided to listen to our advice!

Joking or not…I flame itzMS for commenting that you’re not an adult if a parent is paying for your wedding.

I flame The Knot for not allowing us to “like” someone’s comment on the boards.  This would be so much easier.  Oh, and for not having a mobile app for droids.

Don't get me wrong, I do not believe you have to live together before getting married.  But that is the stupiest reason ever.   It should not even be a reason.   It's like "I will love you for better or worse, richer and poorer, but I will not move in with you until we have a full furnised place with shiny new stuff."

I flame SoKissable over on the NEY board for coming on sounding like a whiney brat because she's 28 and not engaged to her BF, his sister's engaged and he's not moving quick enough, and then because he takes home less money than her after bills and can't "afford to live in an apartment with her like he agreed he would" even though she already live on her own. Then she came back and was like "why does me wanting to live with my BF make me a terrible person?!?!?!"

I hope she saw that you can't come in guns a blazing and whining and expect sympathy

My love goes, of course, to Stage for rallying the troops the other night when I was under fire on MUSIC, of all places. And to everyone who ONCE AGAIN came to my defense.  I even tried to somewhat make amends with that girl later in the thread, and she was still cranky with me. And then I didn't see it, but Pele tells me she then went BSC and started cursing a blue streak. She was banned. Nutty!

I'm going off the beaten path this week with my flame. This happened early in the week, and I'm sad there was no follow up b/c I wanted to know more. I flame Malificent, the OP of this thread, not for the OP itself, but for her followup response to CMGr when she was told "Lord" is not a title. The whole thing just rubbed me the wrong way and was very bizarre.

I'll second the current flames, and I'll send some love to Stage for always giving great advice. Whether the advice was given directly to me or something I've read in another thread, you've helped me a lot.

I flame the girl who felt like she was planning her wedding all alone because her FI is grieving for his recently deceased mother. His mother died FFS, there are bigger things afoot in your relationship than your PPD right now.

I also flame the R/G's sticky about honeymoon registries where crazy birds have flocked to chat with other equally crazy birds to talk about how great HR's are and how their guests loved purchasing them a Brazilian parrot excursion.

My love goes to Pele who cracks me up with her responses regularly.

*facepalm* seriously? I'd prefer to have hand-me-down furnitre and spend like $50-100 to spruce it up with paint/reuphostering than spend like $1000 on a new bedroom set... I'd rather look like a house from Better Homes and Gardens than from the Pottery Barn catalog...

That "bridesmaids drive" thing was indeed weird. I'm glad she eventually came around, though.

<div>I missed this. There is only one new thing in our apartment, and that's our TV. Everything else was free or under $10. It was either a hand-me-down from his parents, something we already had, something we found somewhere and restored, or purchased from a yard sale and restored. I know not everyone is into that look, but most people assume our stuff was from Pottery Barn or an antique shop. I think that's a really pathetic excuse.</div>
