Eldest DD was so stoned after her tooth extraction. FI filmed her antics on the ride home so that I could see. It was very amusing, she was so silly and cute. 

Now she's eating a bowl of ice cream and complaining about how tired she is, but she refuses to sleep. I'd be snoring by now, but she's still going and going and going.

What are y'all up to this afternoon?

We are hiring a new host so I've been pouring over resumes, cover letters and audition reels all the damn day.  I'm only really excited about a few of the applicants and then we got another applicant today that I'm REALLY jacked about.  It's been interesting being on this hiring committee.  I love to judge people lol so it's been fun doing this.

Now I'm bored.

I'm just finishing up the last 1.5 hours of work.  We're getting a ton of phone calls right now, so I've been taking brief breaks to Knot and to read passiveagressivenotes.com  

We have to BBQ pork ribs in the crock pot for when we get home, so I'm excited for that.

I'm home watching a pretty decent storm roll in.  Lots of lightning and thunder.    I'm kind-of surprised because there was only a 20% chance of rain.

Not much other than that.  Exciting life I lead I tell you.

AATB, you might be happy to hear I just made the intern who is being shiiit on a label for her badge that reads BERST ERNTERN ERVER!! It made her day.

I got a milkshake at Potbellys because my mouth hurts from this stupid canker sore.  I wish it was thicker.  I miss Friendly's fribbles.

My dad has started forwarding politically motivated chain emails to me.  I didnt even know he had an email address.

Hello, I'm bored at work.  But I have no right to complain because I did just get here for my day.

AATB, judging people can be fun.  When I worked at fast food the assistant manager always brough out really bad applications and told us how bad they were. The guy was an asshat on a normal day but sometimes the things people put on applications. *shakes head*  Also, I wanted to tell you.  A coworker of mine loves your sig pic and then he started quoting Anchorman to me.

I'm being lazy today, though I really need to get packing. We move a week from Friday. Our photographers sent us this really cute tiny book with some of the photos we've gotten so far, so I'm pretty jazzed about that. And then, of course, I'm still working on Hooters bride's programs. She changes something every day, and it's getting really old.

I am back to work, after locking myself out of the house at lunch. I was going to go to the gym on the lunch break, and had too many things in my hand. IPod, phone, purse etc. and just locked the door and walked out without my keys. And I had that moment of clarity right before the door shut, but of course was too late. H had to leave work (35 min commute) to come let me in. Whoops.

I'm here. I was going to make an Oreo cake for a birthday party at work tomorrow, but I forgot to move the Cool Whip from the freezer to the fridge. Now I have to wait a few hours for it to thaw. Fail.

No, it was clear.  My grandfather used to send me those things.  We had to have a chat about not forwarding offensive political stuff to me.  My dad literally just started this yesterday.  Its not offensive yet, but I dont have time to read through a list of items commonly mistaken as being "Made in the USA."

I really should just use some Orajel, but I hate that it always spreads to my tongue and the roof of my mouth so my whole mouth feels numb and funky.

I'm counting down the minutes until I'm done with work (70, btw) because there is a new Target about two minutes away. They are officially open today and their "grand opening" is on Sunday. I want to go try on all the clothes that have not been tried on before and feel confident that there will be sizes left on the racks between XS and XXL!

They are also building a Trader Joe's in this same complex and I might have an aneurism when that actually opens. I'm so stoked.

I've worked at this company for almost 15 years and I'm still regularly blown away that actual rocket scientists can't figure out how to work a copier.  Unreal.

agh, endless story.

I have a large, rent stabilized apartment in NYC that I pay $2400 a month for as I have lived here since college.  At current rent levels, it should be $6500 at least.  So, they want me out and they can't seem to find a legal way to do it.

Fargo has wanted one for the longest time but I don't think I want one here.  I really like our local grocery stores, and while Trader Joe's often has great deals, I do worry about it taking business from our local markets.
