No fun! My voice is a little scratchy so people keep asking me if I have a cold. I've just been saying yes, but the real answer is "I drank like a fish and smoked like a chimney last night and I feel like crap today" but strangely that's not exactly work-appropriate conversation.

My favorite thing to put on a salad is sliced almonds. It adds a nice crunch texture and a bit of salt.

Hockey, I have been sick for awhile... I may go to the minute clinic tomorrow if I don't feel any better.

Angel, those are all gorgeous pictures! I love the one that has two side by side third from the very bottom. Those are adorable, you guys look so happy. 

I really really want to go out to dinner with H tonight and it drives me nuts that he doesn't know when he'll be off work.

I've never heard of that game being called cornhole. We just call it "bags" around here. Washers is fun, too, though I am terrible at it.

Hi, everyone. I giggle every time someone says "core hole" too, but that's because of the old Beavis and Butthead thing that my little brother loves to repeat, over and over over. "'My name is Cornholio! I need some TP for my bunghole..heh heh heh heh" I found that show SO annoying, until C turned 13, and I realized that teenage boys relly do talk like that, all the time. Now it's marginally funny.

I've only been watching one kid today and it's been sooo quiet. It's nice because I had yesterday off and I was in weekend mode but I think I prefer watching two babies instead of the one.

Our photographer is so amazing and she was the least expensive one I found.  She is doing 11 hours of shooting plus all edited photos on a disk with copyrights for 850.00.

I know! Our original photog was 1800.00 but we changed dates and had to find someone else.  We also got our dream venue with that change.  It went very well in my favor.

That's a great price brandi! Photography was our one serious splurge -- and after getting back our e-pics I'm so glad we did. I actually never AWed those, though I meant to initially.

We definitely splurged on our photography and went over the budget. FI was adament at first that we stay within budget but there was no one we could find that we liked - so happy with who we went with, I love her - even though we havent actually shot with her yet lol

Beautiful pics, Angel.

Thanks for all of the salad suggestions...I had to step away for a while, my neighbor come for a visit.

Anywho. I'm going to have the steak over romaine with sundried tomatoes, roasted corn (I'm taking left over corn off of the cob and roasting it), yellow and orange bell peppers with a greek vinagrette...oh and feta cheese crumbles.  Desert is the last slice of lemon merengue pie that I saved from yesterday.

I can't wait for supper!
