[QUOTE]Does anyone remember Romper Room?  None of my friends do, but I swear I watched it when I was just wee.

I used to watch this ALL the time.  I loved the magic mirror and I wanted to be on the show so badly.

However, I am guessing that you saw some new version?

According to Wikipedia (btw - remember when there was no Wikipedia?) it ran from 1953 to 1994 so that encompasses a LOT of us.  But yes, I would have been watching in the mid-late 80's.

  • Haha fishe I always used to try to dance on my tippy toes, especially when I'd hear that Tequila song. What the hell were they teaching kids back then??
  • Remember those slide things that tied your shirt off to one side.  Do they have a name?

I called it my "ghostbusters." cause it looked like the thing from the movie, if you turned it at an angle. but I was a tool.

I believe that Number the Stars began my fascination with the Holocaust.  My mom took me to see "Schindler's List" when it came out; I was 12.
