I posted this in 2 other borads, but I was wondering with the etiquette point of veiw is. We are working on our budget for out wedding next summer and we can swing an open bar if we dont serve a meal. We are planning to do beer/wine/signature drink. Do you guys think a cocktail hour with Hors d'œuvre, then cake and dancing would be okay for a reception or rude to not to provide a meal?
