How goes it?  Tell us about yourself. I'm 24 and I work in support for a company that helps other businesses save money on their utility bills as well as sell Creative Memories merchandise as a Independent Consultant. I have a degree in Elementary Education and I continue to look for and apply for jobs there...it's just not such a great market at the moment. I'm just happy to have a job, honestly. I'm Christian and my faith and church family are very important to me. I enjoy scrapbooking, reading, playing my flute, and being outdoors.

Are you engaged?  How'd your FI ask?  (short story please) Yes, he asked me on the rooftop of the tallest building in Cinci. Down on one knee and everything. Even got a stranger to take pictures of us with his nice camera.

Have you been lurking for a while, or did you just show up? I pretty much just showed up.

How has wedding planning been for you? Great! I'm ahead on some things and just about right on others. Our date is June 9,2012, so I feel like I still have tons of time..although I need to get that reception hall booked ASAP in my mind.

Mandy wants to know if you like pizza? You betcha! I'll try pretty much anything on it too. Mellow Mushroom = best pizza ever...now I want to go

Alix wants to know if you like vampires, and which ones? Well I am a huge fan of Twillight but I'm on Team Jacob.

Why don't you post more often?  Do you think you will now? I think I post pretty consistently, just haven't been here long enough to rack up tons of posts.

Oh - animals, do you have any? I have a cat that I love dearly. His name is Baxter. I'm trying to e-mail myself a picture of him but my phone connection is pretty terrible in my office. Will try to add it later.

And my FI is adorable.

Well Shannon I highly recommend you pull up HG on your kindle and get to reading!  You will not be disappointed.  It's a new prereq for posting here.    And yes, I can totally see Jack Black - who I LOVE.  Is your husband half as funny as him?  Because JB is pretty hilarious.  I just watched school of rock for like the 80th time this weekend, it never gets old.  Oh, and the episode he did on iCarly where he was some weird like warlock something or other - HILARIOUS!!!

Shannyn, I think you're a-dorable. I wanted to say that for a while, but this thread seemed the right place to do it. Although, I'm generally full of puppies and rainbows and unicorn piss. GENERALLY.

I need some new pics of him, I have AWed that picture like a hundred times. But he is large and in charge, but sadly not 24lbs, about 20. But he is so so so tall and long. I will have to measure him tonight, because he is mixed with some sort of jaguar I am sure.
