Oh my goodness...Raes, that sounds so awkward. Did the best man say anything to you or your H after his little performance?
Posted by LeiselEB
Nope, not a word about it. They just went about the evening like everything was normal. Since then, H has talked to him and basically told him that things between them would never be <em>that way</em>, but their friendship has kind of taken a hit because of it (for obvious reasons).
In Response to Re: too early for a night thread? : I've heard that putting it in the freezer works, but have never tried it. I'd spring for new envelopes if I were you.

That is what I may end up doing, but I thought I would try before doing that, especially since they are already stamped.  They are mostly the "fun" invitations anyway...ya know - the ones to Mickey and the like :)

KellyS - I'd just buy new envelopes.  Even if you get it open neatly, they don't usually reseal very well.

• That is really weird, Chels. Isn't it funny what kinds of situations certain knotties end up in, in our subconscious? A few weeks ago I told Eagles about a dream I had where I went into her work and talked to her about jewelry, and then her boss came in, started to disco and scared all the customers away. So weird.

We took the signed photo from Mickey and Minnie and framed it to display at our wedding on the gift table. Everyone thought it was so funny that Disney would actually send us a response to an invite.

• Wow, Raes.  I'd be so embarrassed... for him, not for you two.

</div><div>I may steal that idea from you! We're displaying our parents' and grandparent's wedding photos on our guest book table...why not add Mickey and Minnie while we're at it? :)

• I only remember my dreams once or twice a year - if even that often.
• Wow, Raes. That is very awkward. I don't know what I would've done if my man of honor had confessed his love for me. Especially since he's gay and all we've already been through. I'd probably laugh a little and then be very weirded out.

• We are totally inviting Micky and Minnie to our wedding. We wanted a Disney wedding but the one in our budget would only allow for 20 people, including the bride and groom and we couldn't get it down to that (damn our large families!)
• Musu - every time I look at your sig pic I think it is a waterfall behind you, even though I know it isn't.
• Raes I have no words I thought he just sang a funny song or something about being in love lol.

<div>My only experience with Disney weddings is when FI and I were vacationing at Disney and were running <em>super</em> late to our massage appointment at the Grand Floridian - their spa building is right next to the wedding planning building apparently, so we were literally running to the spa, totally missed the signs, and went into the wedding building all out of breath. We didn't realize we were in the wrong place right away and listened to a sweet older woman describe the various wedding packages to us - we were very confused by this -  before we noticed the spa was next door. It did sound like Disney would be fun for a wedding, though :)</div>
• Maybe I should invite Queen Elizabeth...I'm sure there are a million reasons she would be in Northeast Ohio on June 9.  haha
• Haha, that is funny, Kelly. I can see why though. That would be a pretty noisy backdrop for a ceremony though, ;)

• A NIGHT thread!  And while I'm HOME!

Hi!!!
• I had zero desire to have anything Disney at my wedding.  To each their own I guess.
• It's a gorgeous location though...waterfall or not :)
• I spend every other weekend of my life surrounded by Disney.  Anything that suggested princess was immediately rejected.

I originally wanted to do our first dance to "A Whole New World" from Aladdin, but the sax version. H wasn't really pleased with that idea.

<div>Hah!  I can only imagine FI's reaction if i suggested a Disney song for our first dance.  He's had a hard enough time wrapping his mind around picking a song that isn't by Billy Joel.</div>

<div>I'm awesome!  I've been very busy with the play i'm in currently, but it's some of the most fun i've ever had on stage.  I get to throw myself over a bannister, leap up onto someone's shoulder and then be carried around like a sack of potatoes and dropped, and do backbends and fall down a flight of stairs.  I'm so bruised but it is SO worth it.</div><div>
</div><div>How are you?</div>
• Haha, why had I not thought about a Disney song for the first dance? FI is a huge Star Wars fan so I will be surprising him by having the recessional(?) to a Star Wars song.

</div><div>My FI wanted to do Elton John's "Can You Feel the Love Tonight" from The Lion King - I love that song, but it makes me think of lions so I wasn't feelin' it for our first dance.
