Re: I am staying!!!

  • Love the new babybee pic!  I wish it was warm enough here to dress like her!

  • Doesn't she look like Lilo?  =-)  A friend of mine from Hawaii gave her that outfit and I've been waiting for her to grow into it.

  • MRs B - just so you aren't confuzzled, the yawn was ABSOLUTELY not directed at BabyBee. I like seeing her peectures.

It was totally meant for lame  OP.

Do not mess in the affairs of dinosaurs because you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup.
I love you Missy. Even though you are not smart enough to take online quizzes to find out really important information. ~cew

This annoys my FI to no end. He is from Pensacola and thinks St. Augustine stole the title.

I don't know enough Pensacola history to know any dates.  Is it really close?

I think Pensacola is a few years earlier, but the whole city was wiped out by a hurricane at one point and not rebuilt for 10 or so years. So St. Augustine is the oldest continually inhabited settlement in the US, Pensacola is the oldest city that still exists, and Jamestown was the first ever settlement. Or something like that.

Makes sense then that it's considered the first city.
Yep, Jtown was the first successful settlement.

  • Baby Bee is so cute!  The dress is adorable, and I love her hair.
  • Ooooook, that makes sense. I've been wondering why I keep seeing First Coast in relation to Florida. I myself like to refer to the entire Gulf coast (which I realize doesn't inclue the eastern coast of FL) as the Dirty Third.
