    I answered other.

    I've lived in NYC since college although I grew up in the country, not burbs.  I love the city!

    M grew up here and loved it as well but she now lives in a suburb, 20 miles friom Boston (short commute)

    If I can't live in the city, I would love the beach!  Suburbs make my palms sweat.

    I live about 10 miles outside of DC and I hate it. It takes me forever to drive anywhere and I never feel safe after dark. Dh and I have been trying to move farther out into the country where we can see stars again and not just traffic lights.

    I've done city and country, I'd be happy with in between leaning towards more country/peaceful. I miss being surrounded by woods and cornfields.

    City because of public transportation and good restaurants.  I live in the burbs now and its so depressing.
