FI and visited our reception site this weekend and are ready to make a deposit...but the site doesn't have a contract. The prices are a la carte, so that hasn't been established yet, and they will issue a deposite receipt with the amount and our date, but while they have weddings and functions all the time and have for 50 years, they have no formal contract. Has anyone else dealt with a situation like this, and how did you remedy it? She said she has had some brides provide their own contract, but what should it include if the total price hasn't been set yet?
