What is everyone up to? I am up to my brains in studying for ConLaw and need a break. Ugh, finals. BUT I found out I got an A- on my Contracts midterm, so I am feeling good about that.

I just finished my partnership tax take home exam. I spent four hours trying to figure out a recourse debt question, then realized it was pretty much word for word from an example in the Regs. I felt like a moron. 

Congrats on the A! Where do you go that you have midterms?

Tiger-- I am a 1L in law school. For some reason this semester most of my classes decided to have midterms. My contracts prof took FOREVER to grade them, so we finally got the grades today (after classes are done, go figure, haha) Your tax exam thing sounds beyond complicated and icky, haha.

Yeah, I can't believe I finished my first year of classes. Now to get through these 2.5 weeks of exams. I feel pretty good about 2 of the 4. The other two (including this ConLaw one)...not so sure. heh.

I really don't want to take Tax, because everyone says it is the hardest class/prof at our school. It isn't required for graduation, but just recommended for the bar, of course. I have a lot of ideas for practice but I have strong interests in child advocacy, arts & entertainment, and animal law. What year are you?

Hello. I just finished feeding little Edmund. He is such a good little boy. Last night was hard. Had a bit of a nervous breakdown last night. Now I'm home by myself for a couple hours while DH is out at a meeting with his dad.

Hi Ciara! So glad to hear that he is feeding well and that he is a good boy. So does that mean he isn't too fussy? I'm sorry about the breakdown, I can't imagine how difficult the first few months are. ((hugs))

Ciara - what a cute photo of you two! I'm sorry last night was rough - I can't even imagine having a newborn. 

Musical - I'm a 3L. If I can just turn in this last security devices take-home exam, I will be done! Well, except the bar, hahaha.

Tiger-- Oh, well congrats on being almost done! I bet that is gonna feel so amazing to be done with the bar. Judging by your classes, I'm guessing you are going into tax law or some kind of business related field?

Ciara-- That makes sense. I bet it takes a bit to make a routine feel familiar for him. I bet just having him there with you makes everything so much better though,

It is the way law schools describe years of school instead of freshman, sophomore, etc. 1L = first year, 2L, 3L, etc.

I LOVE SVU. A LOT. I have seen every episode a few times so I don't watch the marathons as much anymore. But I love Wednesday nights for the new eps.

I love SVU a lot a lot. I watch the episodes on Netflix on the XBox when there is nothing else on TV.

Tiger-- Cool, congrats on already having a job lined up, that is awesome. I am watching Glee, but after that at 8 I am gonna watch The Voice. I watched it last week and really enjoyed it.

I'm watching Biggest Loser right now, it's Makeover Week! And the Voice is on at 9. I was very skeptical last week, but it's pretty good!

Yeah, I was skeptical too because of all the hype it got. But it was actually pretty good, and I liked all the interaction that the judges had.
