Hey, I'm here.

Just got home from work. I wasn't expecting to work so much this weekend and had planned on studying for my final that's tomorrow. Yea, it's in 15 hours and I haven't even started. Woops.

I'm great! We just got done at a local winery. We saw a great cover band! I think I'm going to see them again Thursday I can't wait! I would love to show more pics once I get my CD from my photog. When I do I'll get them posted. I've gotten sucked into many episodes of Gypsy weddings. I told H when we renew our vowels we are doing it Gypsy style.

haha earlier today we were watching ET and H said "I have one of those ET dolls still, but because of Pawn Stars, I know it is worth nothing, because it is open and a million of them were made" hehehe

H always wonders too...

I probably have a few things that were my grandparents...but for the most part, I think my idiot uncle threw away most of the valuable things in that house.

Hi all.  Just got home from my parents' house.  I'm about ready to crash hard.

sadly...my grandparents were packrats....when it came time to clean out their house and sell it...an uncle literally flew into town to just take what he thought was worth $$ and started throwing a bunch of other stuff away and then left town.  It was a cool history lesson going through stuff they had....but it was difficult.

Hey ladies.  I am really just a lurker from NC.  I know, a couple of strikes against me.  But this board has become my wedding prozac.  This planning stuff is stressful and ya'll make me laugh, thanks for that. Thanks Edie, I actually fell in love with my dress right after I met my H. It was from the 2006 collection. I can't believe they still made it when I went.

We're still out looking at venues. We couldn't get Sunday appointments with a few on the list, but we're checking the locations and trying to peek through windows.

Heb, those pictures are wonderful. You both look so happy. Your decorations were lovely, too.

Yes, that is cleopatra, with her mouth open really wide. She will be 17 next month, she is a HM persian, persnickity ( is that how you spell that? ) as hell, but I do love her, I hope she lives for another 17  years.

My mom made mostly all of the cookies. Two friends also threw in a few dozen, which was extremely nice. We put out to go bags for people to take them home. I was afraid we were going to have a ton to take home, but It was awesome because we took home 0 cookies. There was over 120 dozen there.

Yes, no one realizes favors and they can be pricey. We did souvenir cups, because that's how Nick proposed, they worked out well because we have draught beer.
