Anyone around?

Re: Anyone around?

  • ugh...i just looked at the E board and all the posts are gone.
  • Hello.

We had a late lunch at some hot dog place. We had to wait in line for 15 minutes just to order the hot dogs. Then it took 35 minutes for them to come. On my 3rd bite I bit down on a bone or something. That was it, I was done. I really don't like hot dogs anyway, but DH wanted to do.

Now we are at home, drinking some wine. I'm waiting until 7:30 to come around. That is when DH is going to cook a pork loin and make my favorite mustard cream sauce.

  • My wedding is the 2nd for both, but the right one this time. It is a small wedding, getting married at the church, where I work. Our colors our chocolate brown and dark pink. My dress is ivory, and I love it. I am not having any pre wedding pics but here is a link to my dress http://www.morilee.com/bridals/voyage/6305

It's crazy that it's been this on and off. But then again, I shouldn't be surprised.

  • Heb - your pictures are absolutely stunning. I love your dress.

  • Not too bad, Lynda! Getting ready for school in a couple of weeks (already) and just sort of coasting, making it up as I go :) How you been?

  • Wow Heb, how gorgeous!

Hello everyone! I just made a bunch of puppy chow for something we're doing at work on Tuesday. I also did a much needed thorough cleaning of my car so we have a clean car for next weekend.

I had a good weekend. FBIL and his wife and son were here, which was fun. I also got to meet crfb eysterday! She is one of the sweetest people ever. And holy cow she has pretty hair lol.

Sometimes that is not a bad way to go.

I'm doing good. I like my job. Wish it paid more (who doesn't right?). It's challenging and they are very flexible. I even take the dog to work a few days a week. Which is actually becoming a bad thing because Chef D is starting to have separation anxiety when we do leave him alone.

I was MIA for a while. Did you take your grandpa's place or the other place?

  • Lynda-- neither. The other for financial reasons and my grandfather's fell through in probate. H had a breakdown a few weeks ago and I told him that if he wants the separation so bad he can leave, but I'm staying here. So far nothing's happened. I'm trying to convince him to get into solo counseling. He's pretty messed up in the head and our marriage counselor thinks he has anxiety disorder and depression. Not really thinking about fixing our marriage right now since it can't be fixed at all if H is so unhealthy. We'll see where things go from here, I guess. For now I"m just taking care of myself and making myself happy, that way whichever way things go, I'll be all right.

  • I'm glad you stood your ground about staying though, Bay. At least while all this chaos is going on, you don't have to worry about the financial strain of a different place.

  • I'm back! Taking a dinner break. I left to go study.

Lynda, that's pretty awesome that Chef D can go to work with you. Sorry about his anxiety. I completely understand that problem.

Awww. I'm so sorry. I'm also sorry I missed it all the first time you announced it.

Stay strong and take care of yourself.

It is cool I can take him to work. But I feel bad that he as been barking if he is in his crate. None of the neighbors have complained, but I still feel bad.

We are going away in July to TX. We have never left him before. I can't imagine what he is going to be like for the dog sitter.

  • I can't wait to babysit for infants. These toddlers get sick way too often which leads me to get sick way too often. I'm on my second cold in June alone.

I love infants cause they're cute and cuddly, but hate when they cry cause they can't tell you why they're crying. I love toddlers cause they can play, and tell you what's wrong, but they can talk back.
