Weird Confessions

When we moved in our house the previous owners didn't spray the foundation and it had been a wet summer so the earwigs were everywhere.  I would wake up every night in a jolt thinking there were bugs on me.

Do you wear contacts or glasses? I can't imagine not going for that long if you do. I have to go like, once a year for my prescription to remain valid.

You can add my to the fear of needles club.  I have to get my blood drawn every three months and every time I have to lie down and stare at the ceiling so I don't pass out.

I can't watch medical shows or go on WebMD because I get terrified that I have basically every illness.

I'm also afraid of cats.  Seriously, they freak me out.

yeah a lot of people do. A lot of people hide in the dark about that one I feel like because American culture is all about not making a single noise while eating. But you would be surprised how many people feel the same way as I about chewing noises in a non-sexual way. There are those other people who have chewing/eating fetishes.

I am so late to this and I am still catching up so I do not know if anyone is even confessing anymore BUTTTT

I am HUGELY afraid of getting smushed in between two semi trucks. I have seen it happen and the car gets smushed into dust and I am so terrified that this is going to happen to me. If there is a semi in front of and behind me, I will have a panic attack and pull over to the side of the freeway and calm down. I really hate it but I start to go in to panic mode even if there are like 2 cars between me and the semis, but I cannot help it. It effects me every damn day.

I'm late- but I'm so creeped out and freaked by fish too. I can't believe someone else is. I can't even look at an aquarium. When restaurants have fish tanks, I won't sit anywhere near them. They make my stomach turn!

I pass out when having blood drawn. I pass out when stressed out in doctor's offices. Apparently it has a name: white coat syndrome. I pass out in nail salons. No mani-pedis for me.

I eat Skittles, M&Ms, and anything else colorful in matching pairs. If I have an odd number of a color, I try to match the odd one up with whatever's closest on the color wheel.

It's from Chit Chat, Emily, a few weeks ago. She jumped into a thread without reading any of it to defend the OP about how she was treating her dog.  Then got her hackles up when people pointed out that she needed to read the thread if she was going to jump in and defend her "friend" the bad dog owner. This is me too.  Not at the doctor's office, but walking into hospitals.  I can watch surgery on TV, but I pass out in real life.  Sadly, it's why I'm not a doctor.

The issue with hospitals that so many people have has never affected me.  I know a lot of people feel uncomfortable in them, but both my parents worked in them so I've visited regularly since I was a baby.  It just strikes me as any other building.

Oh, another confession: I almost didn't read Harry Potter because in one of the movies, I saw either the snake or spiders (I fail, I read them after at least the first three or four movies were out).  I wanted nothing to do with them because of creepy crawly things.
