i def had the thought process of miss kate and oot which is why im torn.

yet i also made it clear that i cant hold dates forever.  i really dont want to have half of my summer held in hostage over someone's wedding/shower/bachelorette plans.  as someone who is a planner, i just dont understand why tehy cant pick a date and confirm it with the WP even if they may not be ready to send out invites.  my world does not revolve around this wedding.  my world didnt even revolve around my own wedding.

ive thougth through the responses and i think what ill do is this.  the rsvp deadlne is May 15 for the invite i received.  if i dont get the FSIL invite by that date, then ill go to my friends shower.
