I have a stand mixer, but have never taken it out of the box since I knew we were moving. Homemade angel food cake sounds delicious.

Yes, you can leave out the almond extract.  H hates the stuff (I love it).

bree you could definitely leave out the almond extract. The recipe actually doesn't call for it, it's just something that my grandma added to it.

We once made a lemonade angel food cake that was delicious. I've also done chocolate which was also good.

That is funny he thinks you are like April. She reminds me of a friend from HS. I think J would say I'm a cross between Ann&April. I am really dry humored like April, but more or less just average in temperament like Ann.

We did it from scratch and added frozen lemonade concentrate to the recipe. The lemonade replaced the regular sugar I believe.
