Today is my short day.  WOOT.  And when I leave work I get to go see Jocelyn "compete" in her trike-a-thon for St Jude.  It's going to be cute overload!  I can't wait.

Aww how adorable!

I'm feeling like poo this morning. I had some effed up nightmares (like shiit out of a horror movie), my throat is bothering me and I really hate my hair. And I have to go over to MIL for dinner where the grilled chicken will probably be tough enough to break a window. All we'll get to do is hear her complain about everything under the sun. Know what? I'm not in the mood, cause I want to complain!

I'm currently arguing with myself in an attempt to convince myself to call the chirporactor. The thought of someone working on my neck scares the hell out of me (I have visions of being paralyzed for life after seeing my mom have her neck cracked as a kid, even though that resulted in her pain ending. The image was just disturbing.). I know it will help, but I can't get over the "what if" and am wrestling over seeing the chiropractor or trying the physical therapy first.

J's picture is so cute.  

It's weird I normally sleep better when DH is not in the bed, but I haven't slept well these last 2 nights.  Odd.  

I'm still kind-of annoyed I had to spend 46 minutes (of which 40 of those were on hold) to changed DH's plane ticket.   They  insisted that DH would loose his ticket home on Monday if he did not get on the flight tomorrow.   Even though he will already be in  Dallas VIA their own airline this afternoon.  

Then they said, I could cancel the ticket and have up to a year to use the credit.   I would then have to buy I one-ticket home.  I'm like I paid over $700 for his first ticket.  If I I buy a one-way ticket today for Monday the rate would be $499.  We are not looking for a refund, just wanting him to fly home on Monday on the original flight.  So why not just removed the first segment and just be done with it?   They get to keep the fare difference and he gets on the same flight.  Win-Win to me and a lot less paperwork. 

It took 2 managers, but in the end  DH was cancelled from the first segment, still on the return flight with me AND I got a $72.80 refund.   Never even asked for the refund, that was just a bonus.

Sorry for the vent.  Airlines just annoy me sometimes.

Seshat, you should find out if there's a chiropractor who, instead of doing the more "traditional" crack you and moves your body, they use this little hammer-like tool to relieve pressure.  It supposedly doesn't hurt and is just as effective. 

I am having another BAD DAY where I'm just making mistake after mistake and I feel like a total ass.  But honestly, these were totally not my fault.  I was using a development site instead of the launched to do some work, and couldn't figure out why i was getting these errors. I contacted the head of this management tool, and HE couldn't figure it out for an hour when suddenly, he came back up to my desk and realized that i was in the developers site, and not the launched.  The ONLY way it's distinguished is through the URL, and obviously, I would not have known that since they look EXACTLY THE SAME. *sigh* Ah well.

Snippy, I hope your day improves.

I'm...not in the greatest of moods today.  H took the one car we have yesterday on his day off to MA to visit a friend of his.  He was there all day.  My one request was that he come home at a "decent" hour (around 11 PM) so that he didn't wake me up when he came in (I have to work today and he does not).  This meant he had to leave around 9.  He called me at 10:30 to say he was "on the road", but then I heard voices in the background, and he admitted that he was still there, he hadn't left yet.  He finally got home around quarter after 1 (I didn't stay up).

I'm pissed off because he lied.  Dude, I'm not going to bite your head off if you tell me you misjudged the time and you're leaving now.  I AM going to get pissed if you tell me you left, and it's obvious that you're still hanging out with your friends.  He's apologetic, and I'm just...I don't know.  I hate lying, especially over stupid things.

I don't know.  Maybe I'm overreacting.

Blerg. Not only bad hair color, but a bad picture to boot! I keep thinking it will look different in natural light. But who am I kidding? I spend 95% of my time under this type of lighting. So it needs to look good in here, not out there.

Bay, that would really piss me off too. Like, why lie abotu something soo dumb. And like you don't know how long it takes to get home? So you would ahve figured it out anyways when he did get there. Ass. H has pulled this on me before too. He's awful at judging time.

LVB, I don't think it looks bad.  It's kind of hard to judge at that angle, but I think your hair looks pretty!

Thanks. The more I stared at it, the more embarrassed and sad I got. I'm going to try to have her redo it on Friday. Ugh, I'm afraid everyone is going to be upset. We love our stylit, she's more like a friend. She lvoed the look (and I think it's well done, just not for me). And H is going to freak out about the money. That's almost $200 bucks times 2 I feel like a dumbass.

Good Morning!

I'm with Alix on Friday needing to be here NOW.

Things have still been super crazy at work, but we have some new hires and just trying to get them trained.

H & I are going out to dinner tonight. We have a Living Social deal that expires tomorrow, so since it's his early day at work, he will pick me up and we'll go from here. I'm already hungry for dinner! And yay! I don't have to figure out what to cook tonight!

Wow.  LVB that is drastic!  I think she did a good job for lightening it up that much, but I can see where you just wouldn't be comfortable with it after having it so dark before. 

Maybe all you need for her to do on Friday is add some toner to darken it up a bit?  I went WAAAAY too light like 2 years ago and toner was all I needed to get me to a place I felt more comfortable.

Yeah, she did a fantastic job and my hair feels awesome, totally smooth and shiny. But I just can't deal. I'm going to try to go to a med-light brown and try to salvage some of the highlights.

I am so ready for saturday.  Beyond ready really.  Wedding stuff is getting real now and Fl is freaking out because a bunch of people who expected to be invited aren't and ASK HIM ABOUT IT and Fl thinks we are having a small wedding.  Dude, 120 ppl aint small.  I just don't want to invite everyone we know who has said hi to us on the street.  It was fine when he was all cut throat and axing people off the list, but now he's all feeling guilty because we aren't having some backyard, everyone's invited bbq.  ugh.

Don't cry LVB.  I bet if you had that hair color for a week you'd feel much differently.  It's a lot to take in.  I mean you went from black to dark blonde in 4 hours.  That's an insane amount of change!  I think you're brave for even attempting it.  I'd be too scared.  I can't even stand the change of seeing my natural hair color b/c I hate it so  much.    The color is good, and it's good on you - -
