Manda, I'm not blond naturally. I go back and forth between having really dark hair, like in my e-pics, and then having blond highlights. Right now I guess I am a dirty blond color because of my most recent highlights. I've been trying out colors for my "wedding hair."

When I was in high school and half of college I pretty much was a blond because I kept getting highlights and never did any lowlights or base colors. I've done just highlights the past few times because I'm po' right now and can't afford to do the 2-3 colors that I really like to do.

I would really like to try really dark.  I'm naturally dirty blonde, but more dirty than blonde.  I've been blonde for a few years now and am pretty attached, but one day I wanna go super dark.  I don't think my stylist would let me.  She's also attached to my blonde.

Amen. That is exactly what he is thinking. He feels like his future is not with them b/c they are not allowing him to get and do what he wants to do.

Missy I'm sorry to hear about the job garbage.  If it makes you feel any better, your H can defer his student loans if he is unemployed, whether he is collecting unemployment or not.

LVB I did see the pic and thought your hair looked good, but it may look a little bit better after some toner. 

Habs - I'm jealous of your long thick hair... my hair is trying so so hard to grow for the wedding but I'll probably go with clip ins to supplement

I have never dyed my hair. My stylist back home says I have virgin hair. Lol. I have always wanted to try highlights or lowlights, but am too chicken too, I guess.

It is the Italian in me. Both my sister and I have jet black hair. I told H that as soon as I get a lot of noticeably grey hairs, I will definitely be dyeing it.

I have my first grey hair that is growing out of my head... so it sticks up and I want to pull it out so bad!!

My mom was born and raised in Italy and has your color hair... my dad's family is from northern italy so I have lighter hair and super red skin... a winning combo

That is so cool that your Mom was born and raised in Italy. I would love to learn Italian. My Grandmother taught me a few words before she died, but no one in my family really speaks it anymore.

And I already have grey hairs, too. I pluck them out, even though they say that for everyone you pluck or pull twice as many grow back. They just stick out like a sore thumb and I can't stand to look in the mirror and see them.
