I know we've done these a few times, but it's totally dead around here, so why not do another one? We're not doing Christmas presents this year so our bank account can recover from the move, but if we were...

Bay, I just got a new coat. If you don't get one for Christmas, I would suggest Delia's. It's a junior's store, but their coats are cute and actually hold up pretty well. This is the one I got in charcoal gray: clicky

[QUOTE]Sarah, I feel for you! Your little guy is so precious though!

Thank you. His looks serve him well. Its hard to be grumpy when he's smiling at you.
Jill, I love that coat!
LTB, a house would also be on my list. Well, a chunk of land to put a house on to be more specific
[QUOTE]I want cash and Amazon giftcards. So festive of me.

Anna, I'm just like you. I tend to either A) buy myself everything I want throughout the year or B) what I want is more expensive than what one person will buy for me.
My christmas gift to myself this year is a custom made wine cabinet. Besides that I have no idea what everyone is getting me since I didn't tell anyone anything.
BTW Jill, My H has one of those watches. They are pretty cool. Are you signed up through Gilt Group? They are on sale there often. That's where H got his.
[QUOTE]I want a Waterpik. After I got my braces off in June, the orthodontist put in a permanent retainer on the bottom. It's a pain in the ass to floss my bottom teeth, and it doesn't get done nearly enough. I'd also like a yarn swift and ball winder, so I can stop making my husband help me turn hanks of yarn into center-pull balls.

YES. This. I need one. I have a ball winder (it was $20) but good swifts are so pricey.

[QUOTE]Daff, any ideas on curtains? I found some that I like for the new apartment, but I don't know that they'll really "go" with our stuff

Not really sure yet. I'm thinking maybe just ivory. I'm going to have the room painted a medium warm grey. These pictures are my color inspiration:

[QUOTE]Daff, I love all the colors I've seen you post for your house. You can come decorate for me when I have a house ok?

Funny that - we had carpet installed in the family room about a year and a half ago. I've decided I hate the color and want to get it redone. D'oh.

The rest of our stuff is really dark wood and leather, so I think they would be a nice little pop of color. Rick said they kind of look old lady-ish though
I hate curtains. I figure I'll just walk around naked until some neighbors give us money for blinds
