I really don't understand the point of making a post to announce that you are taking a break or GBCK-ing. And by you I mean the general "you", not ghoti specifically. Just go, don't post if you don't want to. Most of the time no one cares who stays and who goes. Announcing it like it's a BFD is AW-ish and annoying.

Understand that I was NOT well received at first b/c I thought it was MY place to go BSC and tell people they were being bitches and that they should be more helpful.  And that's where it began.  I got called out left and right, for several weeks and some people knew I was around and would make posts saying "Voldemoort....is that youuuuu"?  I had to suck it up and take it b/c I had no right, newb or not, calling complete strangers a bunch of bitches just b/c I thought they were picking on another poster.  Who the hell did I think I was?  A littly snotty-shiit that's who!  I did apologize for my statement but some still didnt let me off the hook and it has taken quite some time for others to see me in a different light and realize that I'm not the a-hole that I came across to be at first.  And guess what?  Some of the regs still aren't that fond of me and that's ok....this isn't a campfire with smores and kum-ba-yah so not everyone is going to like every single poster on here.

So my point is this....no one is going to think fondly of someone that feels the need to announce taking a break b/c they are being called a troll, etc.  Only YOU can change this and with that said, keep in mind that there are some people that just may not ever accept you and guess what?  That's ok! 

I personally would admire someone that chose to stuck it out when they were having their ass handed to them and take it like a big girl rather than run off like a dog with its tail stuck between its legs (and no, I'm not calling you a dog either)

That is the Gypsy Queen in Carova, NC.  The owner and his wife purchased an old fishing boat and basically placed it on top of a school bus frame.  There are 6 massive speakers on it, a flame-thrower and it even drives up & down the beach.  Tourists have actually called the Fire Dept before thinking either a boat had washed ashore or that it was on fire, lol.  The locals call the tourists paparazzi b/c they alwasys turn around to take pics.

I will admit that it was quite a sight the first time I ever saw it.

Ohhh this is without a doubt....there is always a few bottles of wine around my house :)  I will make sure to have a dessert wine for the smores, lol

The Outer Banks resides from the southern most tip of VA all the way down the NC coastline.  Its actually considered "The Graveyard of the Atlantic" b/c more ships have sunk there than anywhere else in the U.S.  There is a lot of history from Blackbeard the Pirate all the way to the Lost Colony.  Most people vacation from Corolla to Hatteras which is about a 75 mile stretch and the island in some parts are only 3 miles wide.  It truly is a beach like no other....no major hotels or casinos on the oceanfront, just beach homes and wild horses ;)
