Yikes, don't let FI get that drunk so early! Heh. J's GM were actually really good about keeping him sober. He only had one or two swigs of the flask that his BM carried around. He was mostly sober the whole night actually. But yeah, BM was just plastered all day. He slept over at our house the night before (all the GM had a sleepover here and I slept over with my BMs at one of their apartments), and he sat at the breakfast table eating waffles while taking gulps of rum straight from the bottle.
Awesome guys. I just saw I had a PM from my fuzzy weiner dog sig pic days: "Hi Mkrupar, my request may be out of line and truly I do not mean to be rude, will you considure changing the pick at the bottem of your posts? we are all adults however some of us (me for example) may be more traditional thank you for reading - I apolgize if this is out of line" Bahahaha what makes this person think I'm going to change my sig pic for them? I don't even know who they are. Someone with no posts or an avatar.
Posted by mkrupar
Yeah she sounds really adult, since she misspelled half of her post, lol.
image
• MK - at least it sounds like the person asked nicely.
• Here was my response:

"Your request is out of line. We are all adults. There's a little button that allows you to hide sig pics. I didn't even see this PM, but happened to just notice this. What makes you think I would take the request of someone I don't even know? So please keep your prude little opinions to yourself. (And stop dressing them up as "traditional") Thanks!"
image
• yeah Loopy, but c'mon. "more traditional"? What does that even mean? I'm so traditional I don't like seeing pic of dogs that happen to resemble a penis.

• I miss fuzzy weiner dog. PM OP needs to get a sense of humor.

Our wedding was at 11am, so if our BM was drunk by then, man that would have been some heavy early-morning drinking. I know H and his BM had a couple beers when getting ready (BM's wife got a pic of them toasting with them) but other than that, there was no drinking all day. For anyone, we made people suffer with just cokes, punch, and water.

Have you seen the documentary 'Buck'? I watched in a few weekends ago and just loved it. It has really sparked my excitement to ride horses. :)

• Edie--I love Bridesmaids but I hate the beginning. It's a pretty unneccesary awkward sex scene. And I love sex scenes but that just made me so uncomfortable.

• Yeah - I don't think traditional was the right word to use there. Maybe uptight? repressed?
• I didn't even notice the spelling errors. I never check PMs. I changed my pic long after this request came through.

• A quick P & R (I will be back later), but hello Ladies!

Ski: I would gladly video your wedding for you, if you can't find anyone. Granted, I have very basic video skills.

Barrel: I love that pony! I went riding last weekend, and am going again on Friday.

I was online applying for teaching jobs for next year like crazy this evening (I applied to 4), so I guess it is time to make dinner and hang out with H in front of the TV for a bit.

Its super good! I really don't know much about horses at all, but I just thought the way Buck trains and communicates with horses was so great.

• Hi Nicki. Thanks :)

And I'm off to make dinner... But now everything I'm making doesn't measure up to all of MK's food pins that I'm drooling over.

• I have an irritation - it's freakin' 46 degrees outside and the a/c in my office is running. The vent is in the ceiling right on top of my desk and it's making me COLD dammit. I have an inner office and maybe the machines in the shop warm the place up but the a/c has been running all winter in here. And the temp is set at 75 degrees and it turns on every 15 minutes for 2 or 3 minutes.

Okay back to regularly scheduled knotting. I just had to get that off my chest :)
• It was totally just a joke too. People who can't laugh need to lighten up.

• Guys... I'm tired of wedding planning.
• How much more do you have to do Aleigh?
• Make my BM gifts, get FI's wedding band and clothes, find a FG basket, finalize our music list and ceremony, get the marriage license, write my vows, and get little things like an easel for the escort cards and floating candles. I feel like there's more I'm forgetting.
• Make a list and start checking them off. The next 6 weeks will fly by. I got sick of wedding planning around the same point.
"Get" his wedding band as in pick *out*? Or pick *up*?
Posted by edielaura
Both. *eyeroll* His family owns a jewelry store so it should be pretty easy to get. It's an hour away and we'll be there this weekend for Easter dinner. The only problem is getting there before they close on Saturday because I also have my hair trial bridal portraits and boudoir pictures that day. He's being a huge pain in my ass.

The above bread is baking in my oven. It smells wonderful. FI was napping and it roused him from his sleep.
• It took us 3 weeks to get H's in after we ordered it. Why can't he go while you're doing your b-pics Aleigh?
• It's an hour away so we have to ride together. We'll see I guess. I mean worst case scenario is we find a fake ring for the ceremony.
• Sorry to flood the night thread with my wedding problems haha
