Re: FFF

  • This is way late, and a totally lame FFF contribution.

But, the Olympics are in Canada, I assume the trauma center is in Canada as well.
HIPAA is a U.S. law, and obviously wouldn't apply to a healthcare worker in Canada.

  • I've never KUI'ed.  I don't really drink at home, though.  Unless my BIL or FIL has made a new beer or wine.  Even then, its like 1 glass.

  • BG, I see what you mean about the placed typos.

Tonik? I can slightly understand wazs because the z and s are close to each other, but c and k...not so much.

[QUOTE]I am known to KUI from time to time. But that is more because I love to drink, and I love to knot, and the two happened to gloriously join hands from time to time :) I am not sure I am all, "my face is NUMB!!111!!"  and stuff when I do it though. ::shrugs::

Meg, I just read all your posts as though you're tipsy and have one of those beer/straw helmets on your purty head, so you can type with both hands. It's more fun that way! ;)

Lpstl, good catch on the HIPAA thing. I feel dumb for not thinking about that, but now am curious about medical confidentiality regulations in Canada. *off to research*

  • I KUIed once and shared FAR too much in an Ask Me Anything. Learned my lesson!
  • Kate - Thanks for the link! That's the one I was thinking of.

    Jess - I know, right?

Bec - I'm really sorry I missed that thread. :(

I have been giving BF a head rub as he sleeps, which makes my tping even worse then just drinking issues.

WTF? This makes me wonder which head was she rubbing that made typing that difficult!

oh please Bec, just because you are a pro at head rubbing and typing doesn't mean you have to flame all of us less skilled girls ;)

It only requires very low level stalking of you to learn about your pink beer helmet.

Wait.  What?  I haven't been stalking you at any level.  Promise.
  • I guess my issue is the need to alert everyone to the fact that you are KUI.  As though it's some admirable status.  If you happen to be having a cocktail while sitting on the couch watching tv, knotting, what have you -- awesome.  You can still carry on conversations in threads perfectly fine.  You can create new threads perfectly fine.   However, you can do so without using KUI as a reason.  I don't get why you have to mention it in order spark conversation.

That was embarrassing bc of the simple fact I was smashed, and I don't get like that usually.  When I got online the next day I was mortified.  I deleted everything.  I think Sun commented on it.

Eh.  If it were kk they were pretty random call outs to make on other people who haven't said anything mean to provoke her.  It's not like they disguised the thumbs up.  I'm still not buying it.

Trolls are lame. Plus, if I ever were to make a troll, I would never make someone's looks... ever. And if I remember right this person said something about lauren's sig? Which I think it cute btw.  Also I would never say something good about me if I were a troll... that wouldn't give it away or anything.

Im pretty sure someone who had created a troll to say all that stuff, would then say she would never do that and contradict what the troll said to cover her trail.

What kind of proof could KK offer that would make you believe she didn't do it? How can any of us prove anything given that this is the internet? Can you prove it wasn't you? Can you prove it wasn't me?

I wasn't gone. I just havn't been on much because I have been out during the day. (which is when I am on most). I have actually posted a couple times earlier this week.

Today we're just hanging out at our apt. I am knotting, and fi is on youtube watching Lance Armstrong.

  • Enough with the over eager conspiracy assumptions.  I'm neither for nor against kk to any degree, but come on guys.  Random dummies have defended people before, it does not always equal them being an AE/troll/whatever of that person.
