Hi,
My mom is telling me that it is entirely appropriate to allow my second cousins, who live an hour away, to bring their kids to the wedding but at the same time, tell my friends that they can't bring their kids (same ages or older). I am hesitating because I feel awkward telling my friends "oh my family can bring their kids but you can't"
Am I wrong? Is it acceptable to allow kids from cousins and second cousins but tell co-workers and friends that they must leave their kids at home? If so, how do I go about this? It just seems wrong to me, but my mom has put on my two sister's weddings and I have zero experience.
