Shall we? I know Mrs.B had flames, and didn't we skip last week?

Mine's not a particularly interesting flame, but Ghoti kind of gives me the heebie jeebies. I don't know why. Maybe it was how she came, said something (I cannot for the life of me remember what, do you remember?) dumb, left for a while, and has now magically resurfaced. Not that no one else has ever done that, but I don't know, I just can't put my finger on why I'm wary of her.

I flame starbucks1025 for asking probably the stupidest question this week.  Why would you tell people that they’re not going to get an invite to your wedding?

 

I flame achiduck.  Since she first started posting, she’s been coming  into threads late (like hours sometimes) and repeating almost word for word what 20+ other posters have already said.  She’s trying too hard.  And then yesterday, she dropped “retard” on SB.  I’ve been wanting to flame her for awhile but she *seemed* to be getting a bit better.  Yesterday sealed her fate with me, though.

 

 I flame eLindsay12 for officially being the poster with the worst writing composition skills that I’ve ever come across on the knot.

I flame the crazy Grooms Mother (funnygirl2no) for that crazy thread and the personal attacks.

p.s. the brides mother also made a name and posted that they're fully aware of the craziness and that the MOG actually showed up in a disguise. I hope she gets the help she needs (referring to the MOG)

MrsB - I remember flaming Achiduck weeks ago, but I don't remember what for.  I think it had something to do with kids or adoption or something along those lines.  But I'm with you.

I haven't been around enough for any real flames.  IRL in general this week has crushed my spirit and my flamethrower.

Nothing personal to Doctabroccoli - but the idea of asking your bridesmaids to wear make-up when they normally don't is flameworthy to me.  Fish said it best in the thread, but as a person who doesn't normally wear make-up - I would have been very hurt if someone asked me to do that.

I think it's a tiny bit flameworthy to care that the dog poster is now a Mod.  She's a disgusting human being, but it's not like you get anything out of being a Mod on TK.  Or do you?  I was under the impression it was a volunteer thing.

Broc, I hope you don't think I was trying to be hard on you over there. I think it's difficult for someone who is a regular makeup wearing to see the flip side of the argument from someone who doens't wear makeup. I was just trying to give you some perspective is all.

This. Also? That thread was a giant collection of overreaction. I certainly don't agree with Stacie's line of thinking, or her treatment of the dog, but goddamn. People basically condemned her to the seventh circle of hell for figuring out that she's not cut out to be a pet owner. I said I thought it was crappy of her, and left it at that. The people who extrapolated being a bad pet owner into meaning she'll be a terrible parent were also extremely obnoxious to me. Dogs =/= kids. Ever. They're not comparable to me at all.

Not at all!  What you said.  I have a hard time wrapping my head around it because I do wear makeup regularly (to varying degrees), and I would especially wear it for someone's wedding, whether I was in the wedding or not.  And I love you too.
