I'm having a DW and the day of the rehearsal is also the day our island is well known for its weekly fish fry. I'd like to invite our bridal party and friends to the fish fry, where I'd pay for street food and drinks at one location and then we'd move along to the other bars in that area so that they can experience the fish fry, but I didn't plan to pay for drinks at other locations. Is this appropriate?
Is the fish fry even acceptable as a rehearsal dinner? Should I instead have a formal sit-down dinner elsewhere with just the bridal party and then invite everyone to the fish fry? Maybe I need to pay for food and drinks for everyone at all locations?
