A spinoff: How do I get over my fear of makeup?

Let me just say I know what it feels like.  I rarely wear makeup (only for job interviews, meetings with clients), and then I go for the natural look.  And I HATE mascara.  I just hate the way it makes my eyelashes feel.  I also have trouble with eyeliner because my lines always end up crooked, so I tend to do without it.  I always feel weird walking in Sephora like I'm an imposter.  That's why I hired a makeup artist to do my makeup on the day of the wedding.  I think it will be the first time my guests ever seen me with that much makeup on!  (Though I'm again going for a natural look.)
