did you know?

Re: did you know?

  • I broke my nose when I was 5, the doctors told my mom it would heal and go back to normal.  Well it healed alright but no I have a nostril that is completely closed & I have terrified of the surgery it would take to fix it.

Moving to Indianapolis was the 1st time I have ever left home, I was 23 & moved to be with my now husband who I had only been dating for 3 months.
  • I met & have a picture with David Arquette

  • I love wine and I love cheese. Wine now gives me migraines, but I could never ever cut cheese out of my life. I'm obsessed. My fiance and I went to a cheesemaking class last Sept... we made our own, and the farm aged it for us. we finally got our cheese wheels last week. They are AMAZING.
Technically you are only legally blind if your vision cannot be corrected or improved with glasses/contacts, and mine can.   I think 20/200 vision is where you start "qualifying" for legal blindness though, and that was my vision in the 5th grade. My vision is too extreme to be fixed with Lasik.
    Posted by arbolita
Yeah, I'm borderline for lasik. I might be able to get to 20/20, or I might only be able to get to 20/40 or something, I'd like to try it. As long as they don't explain how they're flippping part of my eye up while it's going on. Ugh.

I don't know what that means!  My biological mom's family settled there when they emigrated from Russia back in the day.  Her and my dad must have been visiting her family when I was born, because they lived in Vegas at the time.  I have no memories of it, and I've never been back, but I'd love to go someday!

I had PRK rather then lasik because my cornea thickness was boderline for lasik and my vision was -7.25 and -6.75. I now have 20/20 vision and absolutely LOVE it.

OH _ you name it I've done it.

*Table top fell on my hand trying to lock my sister out of the house

*diving platform, broke my wrist hitting the water

*broke my nose twice diving, once hitting my knee on my nose and once hitting the water and my arms giving way and hitting myself in the face

*broke my hand on a bus walking to the back to close a window, the bus starting moving and my pinky hit the seat and broke my hand

*broke my wrist doing a back walkover during the final rehearsal before opening night to the Mets Nutcracker.  that was embarrassing.  Fell right on my head in front of the director

*broke my tailbone on the bottom of the pool after a dive

*broke my big toe putting on pants.  That one was lame.

*dislocated my thumb twice in one soccer game by getting kicked (i was goalie)

*dislocated my shoulder trying to wear heels to 9th grade for the first time.....had to catch myself as I fell down the stairs.

That's just a few of the beauties.

  • That I can parallel park like a super ninja!  FI is always amazed at my skillz in getting into small spaces! Salt's seen my neighborhood--all on street parking and weekends are crazy busy 'cause there are a million bars!

That I am listed on Imdb as an actress in a film. And FI is on the site too for a movie. Except they have him listed as "actress" not "actor". His name is more commonly a girl's name so that's how that happened.
