OP, you should really look at your own wedding dress and the overall theme you are going for with your wedding when picking bridesmaid dresses.  I'm afraid that with some of your choices, you'll look back at wedding photos in 5-10 years and be like "What on earth were we thinking!"  Hopefully you will have a long happy marriage and want to remember your wedding day.  I would hate for you to regret the dress choices you made.

Please take into consideration the dresses PPs have given links for.  They are all beautiful dresses that are still fun, and could be reworn for many, many occasions.  Don't you think your bridesmaids would love to have a go-to dress in their closet, courtesy of your wedding, that they could wear to tons of events for years to come?  It seems like these suggestions from PPs are worth trying on at least.  You might be surprised at how sexy/sophisticated/gorgeous your bridesmaids might feel in them.

Wow, 17 is quite young.  Many of your guests will not take your getting married seriously, so this could be your opportunity to show them that you are serious, and grown-up enough to be doing so.  And that means staying away from junior high, cute-sy dresses that define you or your bridesmaids as teenagers playing dress-up.

Look around for dresses that are appropriate for a wedding.  They don't have to be matronly looking either - but something cute yet somewhat conservative.  Give your guests a reason to take you seriously.

I think the first two are so much better than your original post!  They still may be a little short for my taste, but I think the style of them look much more wedding to me.  You'll definately find something - good luck.

[QUOTE]In Response to Re: Can I use these? : Some of the girls have big boobs and they might not want strapless.

TMI, but I am a G cup...and I think it is a common misconception that larger chested girls need straps... strapless actually works a lot better on me than a lot of my flatter chested friends. Just throwing that out there...even though this thread it over :).

    To the OP:

This has nothing to do with your BM dress choice, but I just want to chime in because I feel like you've been roasted a bit for your age.  Age cannot predict a successful or a failed marriage.  I have a friend who married her sweetheart at 15 (no pregnancy, just love) and nearly 30 years later they have a marriage that is still as beautiful and strong as the day they were married.  Hers is an exception, of course, but it can be done.

You seem mature for your age, but none of us on this board know you or your FI.  It is unfair to assume your marriage is less likely to last any longer than any one else's on here.  I wish you the very best and I hope you will always remember to put your vows, your marriage and its success above all others.  Best wishes to you.
