Anyone around tonight?

H is sleeping on the couch and has been for a few hours.  We have had such a lazy, hungover day and neither of us have stepped foot outside today.  And we felt so crappy that we didn't even want to be up long enough to make anything to eat, so we ordered pizza for lunch, and we are also eating it as our dinner.  Pathetic, party of us tonight.

H just left to go work at the bar, so I'm just hanging out at home.  I need to do some laundry.  Damn, I got old fast.

I have been cleaning the house and packing for the weekend.
We're just hanging out and watching hockey.

I'll probably be in and out. My H is asleep on the couch as well, because he didn't go to bed at all last night, so he's been napping on and off all day. I'm considering pouring a glass of wine, but I may just go take a shower instead. We finally cleaned up our back patio today, and I'm pretty sure I still have dirt on me.

Haha I hate those random reminders of how old I am.  LIke this morning when H and I felt like death, and we said "clearly we thought we were 21 again last night."

KJB- I feel the same way. Our weekends have been uneventful lately. Hopefully summer will be a bit more exciting.

I'm here. We cooked dinner for my mom tonight and my sister, BIL, nephew and niece all came over too and then we went to Carvel to get some ice cream. My nephew turns 3 next month and has finally been potty trained so we took him out for a treat.

Now FI and I are just chilling on the couch watching SYTTD

Hey everyone. I'm sitting here watching The Devils Advocate. I finally got to go to what will be my clinic today, however didn't do anything and I still don't have access to email. I'm debating a glass of wine. I should probably work out too.

I should work out, but have no desire to get up and move.  I definitely will not be drinking tonight, as I think my liver is still breaking down the ridiculous amount of cosmos I drank last night.

Cengle-I just started a new job as an adolescent mental health counselor.

OOT-you can totes go do it for me haha. I was up at 5:30am on the treadmill, but I'm supposed to do strength training now. Way too lazy to do it. I really just want wine.

OOT-our AC was broken last night. I wanted to die.

You know what, I have no sympathy for those of you with broken AC, because it's not even warm enough here to need it.  We actually don't even have it in our apartment because apparently it doesn't get hot enough here in the summer.  I hope that's right, because I hate being hot.

DNB, it was 79 degrees outside at 9:30 last night and over 80 in our apartment. We went and sat outside because it felt so much better than inside.

Oddly enough, we don't need our AC today. And the pool opens tomorrow. While today was gorgeous, until it rained for a bit earlier this evening, I'm a bit disappointed that it's going to be way too chilly to get in the pool tomorrow.

My brother just sent me the cutest picture of my nephew feeding a bottle to his baby sister. "My" babies are all so cute. I say my in quotes because obviously they are not mine haha.

Broken AC is horrible. When we first moved here the AC would go out every other day. We went to random stores and bars to stay cool. The landlord finally (a month later) put in a new AC.

I doubt that would work out very well because I'm still on crutches :(   Fingers crossed that when I see the surgeon on Tuesday, I can ditch them!

I definitely am feeling much better now, just have no desire to do anything.  We had a big night last night, and are going to the Mariners/Yankees game tomorrow, so we are perfectly happy with a lazy night.

I got my wisdom teeth out Wednesday so I have spent these last few days just laying around.  I actually felt pretty good today, and was able to eat, so I'm glad about that.

Ususally, I just use one now but I'm still not allowed to walk without one.  We'll see what the doc has to say Tuesday.  This has been a very long recuperation but they did lay it all out for me before hand what the restrictions would be.

I should go make dinner but I don't feel like it.  I feel like a slug.  There are 12 days of school left and the kids have the poor behavior to prove it.  Ugh.

Beach, it will probably only get hot enough for you to want AC for a 2 or 3 weeks.  Get a good fan and stick it in the window to draw in the cool air in the mornings and evenings.  We finally broke down and bought a window air conditioner two years ago, but until then we had nothing and just dealt with it.
