Yeah, I don't blame you, aMrs.  We just had pet insurance for the first year after we rescued our dog, because we wanted to see if we noticed any "defects" for lack of a better word, that would be chronic/recurring.  After a year of perfect health except for one small emergency that wasn't really a health problem but an accidental one-off thing, we just decided to wing it for now and reevaluate in the future if we think it's worth it again.

A question for the doggy poeple.

In the US, are dogs allowed in out door cafes or the out door seating areas of restaurants (assuming the outdoor area is seperated from the restauratn by a public sidewalk and not all contained on private property).

If I saw people with a dog on an outside patio at a restaurant I probably wouldn't think anything of it. As long as the dog wasn't obnoxious or anything.
