My issue was more towards the whole beating your kids thing, but I'm working on homework for my prevention of child abuse and neglect class, so my mind's been tainted. Again, how is your nephew?

Oh FFS lighten the hell up.  It's not racist, it's humour that <em>everyone </em>in his target audience [read: the city he grew up in] laughs at daily because it's such an utter truth. We aren't racist at all about it, it's just that everyone - black, white, brown or green - in this area is sodamnusedtoit that we can laugh at ourselves over the ethnic stereotypes [and they are stereotypes for a reason] in what's arguably the largest international mix of immigrants in the world.

That entire portion of the skit is derived in its entirety from experiences that damn near every Toronto child has talked/laughed about at least once.
