Ok fine... I THINK my favourite song might be Dear Prudence. I am just settling this, I love so many I dont have an ultimate favourite but I do really love this song. I love the lyrics, I love the guitar, Its just a beautiful song.

Oh, and I am home and working tomorrow and New Years Day at 9:30 a.m.  So my New Years Eve will be spent home alone with my daughter.  We are going to make cookies and take an Ambien and hopefully I will be asleep by 12.

And dammit....I just remembered I don't know where to park tomorrow as the strip will be closed, and I threw out my employee parking pass because I don't like rules like that and prefer to use the guest garage.

I love dear prudence too.

My favorites are Paperback Writer. I love the song, but my dad sang it to me all the time when I was just a wee little lass, so that's mostly why I love it.

And across the universe is a favorite. My little brother is CRAZY talented on the guitar and this was the first song he learned by ear and circumstance...

When he was NINE. And he played it alllll the time during my folks divorce and I still think there was something about that song that got him through that alive and I love it for that. And it's just beautiful and wonderful.

And Vosges Haut Chocolats....Caramel Marshmallows...Fluffy Madagascar vanilla bean marshmallows+French Guerande grey sea salt+bubbling sweet caramel+Bapchi's caramel toffee bits+dark chocolate.

In short...they will not be leaving my house alive.  I was kind of hoping she wouldn't show.  I already ate the chocolate bar with applewood smoked bacon bits.

Jamiefour, HAHAH you are funny. We have been searching. FI 's only request for a reception was that it would be at a historic venue, he wanted Henry Ford Museum or a restaurant at Greenfield Village. Until you go find out that all these rules, must use their caterer, food starts at 100pp without alcohol yadda yadda. Sorry, I have 85 people in my family before you hit first cousins and a smaller than average in my area budget.

I did find one that we are going to look at soon though, a restored farmhouse that was once used as a farm for soybeans by Henry Ford himself. Same package starts at 30 pp instead of 100. Much more doable, but I want to go to Frankenmuth, a quaint touristy German town just north of Flint.

That is awesome he could play it at nine years old. I like those memories. My grandpa always used to sing "on the sunny side of the street" every morning when we would get ready to leave to drive me to school when I was a kid (I lived with them during the week because my mom worked out of town). I love that song so much because of that memory.

I love some of the songs in the movie Across the Universe, but not actually the movie that much.

I'm sure I'll get flamed to helll for saying this, but I actually like some remakes of beatles songs better than the originals, including Rufus Wainwright's Across the Universe (but I HATE Fiona Apple's version, it's stupid), T.V. Carpio's I Wanna Hold Your Hand, and Joe Anderson's and Jim Sturgess' With a Little Help from my Friends (but only like the Joe Cocker version if it's in a TV show for some reason). Flame away.
