Me:

1. I asked my H for an iPod touch.
2. I don't think I have one...it used to be Coquiel St. Jacques. But mom hasn't made it for years...nuts and bolts is another fave snack item.
3. I don't have a favorite. But I was just reminded by my co-worker how much I love Cherry Lime-Aids. Cherry Brandy with Limeade. It's also good with Lemonade. And it's also good if you use raspberry vodka instead of cherry brandy.
4. I did a travel themed stocking. A couple new shirts, a new pair of board shorts, games, candies, etc.

2. What is a must-have food item for Christmas? Mincemeat pies. If I don't have them at Christmas it's just not right.

3. What is your favorite alcoholic drink? This time of year or always? This time of year we get this really nice German reisling that's only out at Christmastime. SO good. Other than that, I'm big on a martini, heavy on the olive juice and light on the vermouth.

4. What did you buy your H/Fi/BF this year? A few little things. Movies, books, shirts. We spent a shitton on our holiday and that was our Christmas present for each other.

4. What did you buy your H/Fi/BF this year?  I got him a hoodie, a ralph lauren sweater, a cordless drill, 2 ps3 games, an indoor grill, an electric shaver, jeans, adidas pants/jacket, a headset for his PS3 so he can talk to the people he's playing online, a game control charger and a wallet.

1. What is one "bigger ticket" item you asked for?  I didn't.  We got ourselves a TV and couch when we moved and that was our big gift to each other.

2. What is a must-have food item for Christmas? This can be a snack, dessert, appy, etc.  I like turkey at Christmas, but my aunt's making ham this year so I'm sad   I'm hoping to have some peanut butter cookies with hershey kisses, though.  That would make up for a turkey-less Christmas.

3. What is your favorite alcoholic drink?  I don't really have one.

4. What did you buy your H/Fi/BF this year?  Just things for his stocking, see #1.  Specifically boxer briefs, snowboarding socks and mints.

1. What is one "bigger ticket" item you asked for? kindle.  but, i got a camera and a plane ticket to TO!!  i got way more than i askef for. 
2. What is a must-have food item for Christmas? This can be a snack, dessert, appy, etc. well this year it's different.  but in the past we had to have tourtiere in my family (i am not a fan, but it did feel different if it wasn't there).  and sugar pie (tarte au sucre).  this year we're doing fondue though. 
3. What is your favorite alcoholic drink? at christmas?  i'll take anything.  i'm a red wine drinker though.  i like caesars and mimosas too.
4. What did you buy your H/Fi/BF this year? a new japanese knife, the pacific dvd set, 2 dvds, a toblerone, some socks and underwear.

We just filled each other's stockings so I got him a bunch of little stuff.  We buy a joint big gift together and I think this year it's a new tv stand and matching end tables.  Exciting stuff huh.

We don't get each other gifts. Well. We always say that, but then he went while we were up at the border and got a bunch of cash exchanged for Canadian money for my TO trip and gave it to me in a card when we got home. ♥ So, I should probably get him something.

Thanks!  He just spoils me so much on Christmas and I seriously have trouble keeping up with him.  He doesn't do it as an eye for an eye thing, but he seriously goes over board and I usually feel bad like he got left out.  So this year I tried SUPER hard to spoil him.

1. What is one "bigger ticket" item you asked for? Well, my mom informed me I'm getting a Kindle whether I want it or not, because I have a book problem and they're slowly taking over my apartment.

Riceballs are a labor of love and my dad hates doing them because they're so time consuming to make.  But you start with rice in one hand, and make a little half ball.  Then you add all the stuff to the half - we put ground beef, cheese, red sauce, and some of them he puts peas and garlic for most.  Then you put more rice over it and make a ball.  Then you dip them in egg and fry them.  If that makes sense, hard to explain in writing..or i'm just incapable.  They are yummy.
