[QUOTE]J&K, have you read A Thousand Splendid Suns?  I liked it more than The Kite Runner.

Not yet.  It's on my list, though I question that decision as I struggle through Kite Runner.  It's too slow for me and the story didn't suck me in.    But if you say it's better, I might give it a shot eventually.

    1. Any of you members on good reads? Duh ;)

    2.  What is the last book you read? I'm halfway through re-reading Eclipse before the movie is released. The last one I finished (last night) was Hush Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick.

    3.  Library?  Used bookstore?  Brick and mortar bookstore?  Online?   Garage sales? Regular bookstore or online. I'm afraid of used books.

    4.  Favorite "genre" (what do you like to read?) I don't have a favourite. I'm a fan of fantasy novels (ie: Neil Gaiman) and I'm quite big on YA and non-fiction books.

    Hell yeah.

    2.  What is the last book you read?
    "BOOM!" - Mark Haddon
"Life Would Be Perfect If I Lived In That House" - Meghan Daum

Both are from Amazon's Vine Program, I probably would never have purchased them on my own.

Also, "The Many Deaths of the Firefly Brothers" - Thomas Mullen.

    3.  Library?  Used bookstore?  Brick and mortar bookstore?  Online?   Garage sales?
All of the above, but only a regular bookstore for new books if I have a gift card.

    4.  Favorite "genre" (what do you like to read?)
Nonfiction (military history, general history, biographies)
    Literary fiction (NO chick lit)
    Limited sci-fi (Delany, Herbert)
    Good horror
