Evening ladies!

I made soy and wasabi marinated tuna steaks with mashed potatoes for dinner.  I'm a little worried about the tuna steaks; they smelled and tasted fine but we bought them a few days ago so I think maybe I pushed cooking them a little too long.  Sooooo...crossing my fingers that I didn't just poison myself and H.

In order to make up for the questionable main course, I had ice cream for dessert.  It's the century sundae flavor from Blue Bell and it is the best ice cream in the history of creation.

There is a restaurant here called Katz's Never Kloses...they do cheesecake milk shakes. An entire slice of cheese cake is used in each shake. I've had a taste...holy moly! It's a good thing I'm lactose intolerant... Sinful. Very sinful. ETA their Reuben's kick ass, too.

I love cheesecake, but a cheesecake milkshake does not sound like something I'd try. Well, any milkshake really. Eggplant parm sounds good though!

I'm making my first vegan mac & cheese on Saturday. I'm pretty excited. Actually, it'll be my first homemade mac & cheese period. Fingers crossed that I don't completely butcher it.

Poke, I literally dream of Zaxby's. I love that place so much, and I've only ever seen it in Florida. I didn't realize they had cake batter shakes, though. Sounds good.

True story:  The week before the wedding H and I had the stupidest argument over the stupidest, most minute wedding detail.  I yelled "WELL YOU SHOULD HAVE HAD AN OPINION 8 MONTHS AGO SO SUCK MY DIIICK!" and stormed out.  He was laughing so hard he couldn't even be bothered to be irritated anymore.  And I'm so mature.
