Hi All,
I am unsure how to address invitations to my uncle and his family. He is married so I guess the invitation would read Mr. and Mrs. John Doe for him and his wife. He also has a son who is 19 so according to etiquette I know he should receive his own invitation. He has another son who is 22 and severely developmentally delayed. He cannot speak, use the bathroom, or do anything on his own. I was unsure if I should send him his own invite as well since he is over 18 or if I should address the envelope to Mr. and Mrs. John Doe and family, and then write out all of their names on the inner envelope. My family are all immigrants to this country and don't know much about etiquette. I think they would be confused if they received 3 separate invitations to their home for their family but I am trying to follow the etiquette rules.
What do you think?
Thanks a bunch!
